🎉 Happy Birthday 4chan! 🎉

Just turned 18 not too long ago and have $4000 saved up. I want to move the fuck out of the US. I'm willing to learn a different language obviously and conform to a different culture. I just can't deal with this shithole of a country any longer. There's not a god damn thing for me here. What would /trv/ recommend an anon like me to go?

Honestly the only things I'd want to personally avoid is religious problems and high levels of crime. Being on 4chan of course I'm someone who leans a bit more towards interests out of Japan. But I'm not too picky about being in Japan specifically.

First get a job in a foreign country and then move to the place where the job is.

LOSER ALERT! Get it together pal. Go to uni. If you can't afford that go to community college than transfer. Eastern Europe. Most Japanese and asians are tired of loser english teachers

How can I apply for jobs in another country without living there first? I'm very interested in getting started. Would I have to first have a work visa? I'm pretty sure I've heard that term thrown around over the years.

>LOSER ALERT!
Sure, I'm no chad.
>community college than transfer
Is that possible?
>>

The only correct way to do it is become so skilled IT/programming/AI that you can get contract/salaried remote positions.

Otherwise, you’re gonna either live like a poor faggot and get mogged my tourists with girthy wallets, or you’re gonna have to do the “fucking loser shuffle” where you grab your pecker, tuck it between your legs, and waddle out of the airport back “home” to work up more money to come back.
>>
>>2829365
I thought tech jobs were all being replaced by AI or outsourced by Indians? Or is that just a /g/ meme?
>>
>>2829369
Everybody I know that went to in person career fairs got a job. If you are worried about such things just apply to jobs in defense, where internationals are not allowed. If you are applying on linkedin you are going to be beat out if you didn't go to top schools with awards and clout.
>>
>>2829371
>in defense
What do you mean by that? Also I don't use social media. Is having a LinkedIn that important?
>>
>>2829372
Where you would need to be a US citizen because you are working with companies that work with the US. Typically in Defense. I said you should be applying or going to in person job events if you think indians are stealing your jobs. There is far more indians and others in the world than there is americans graduating.

You don't have any good options for leaving permanently, but there's decent ways to leave for a few years. It looks like you could qualify for the Australian Work Holiday Visa, and probably New Zealand too. I'm not sure what the current job market is like since it's not discussed here much anymore, but you might be able to teach English in some of the shittier South East Asian countries (Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia) if you do a short course and get a certificate. There's also countries with no-hassle 1 year or very relaxed visa rules (Albania, Georgia, Argentina) but not sure what you'd do for money.
>>
>>2829374
That sounds more towards military work. Which I'd 100% want to avoid.

>>2829377
Thanks for the post, I'll definitely read up on those options.
>>
>>2829378
Anon you sound dim. This just means companies with contracts with the US. not military work.
>>
>>2829371
>jobs in defense, where internationals are not allowed
But do they even allow remote? And I know some of them have overseas positions, but isn't it usually in kinda shitty places at military bases?
>>
>>2829381
google is your friend.
>>
>>2829379
Sorry, I'm not the smartest anon on the board. That's for sure. I am trying to learn and get better though. I want to do something with myself instead of being stuck in dying country collasping upon itself where it's looking like I'll never even be able to move out on my own. I also have trouble trying to drive. So other countries not being as reliant on driving or as strict with driving rules would be easier on me.
>>
>>2829382
>google
I don't use Google search. Also most search engines really suck at actually finding anything.
>>
>>2829383
that is most of europe mate. western europe sounds expensive. asia has massive barriers so it sounds like baltics or eastern europe for you. maybe less major cities in western europe.
>>
>>2829385
Wouldn't there be issues with the Russia-Ukraine conflict and tensions towards an American trying to live anywhere near it? I mean I'd wipe my shitty asshole with a flag if that would please them. I have no loyalty to this bullshit place. I want the fuck out.
>>
>>2829386
mate you are 18 and are very difficult. just go to uni and if you want to fuck off from here after those 2 to 4 years then do so. life is shit without that degree dont listen to people on here saying it is BS to go to school.
>>
>>2829387
What would be the best degree to get if I did take the route of going to either an Asian country, the Baltics and/or Eastern Europe?
>>
>>2829389
idk engineering. medicine of course but that takes long
>>
>>2829390
Could I do engineering if I have psychomotor retardation?
>>
>>2829386
>Wouldn't there be issues with the Russia-Ukraine conflict and tensions towards an American trying to live anywhere near it?
Nobody gives a fuck if you aren't trying to the actual frontline
>>
4000 is nothing. it's a lot for your age but 4000 dollars at 21 is like having 2000$ and at 25 it's like having 200$

you have three options to live overseas

-you either get a good career in the US, and after 10+ years your company might send you overseas or you might get recruted by other companies. thats the safest option and what most expats do

-you find a way to work fully remote, while being allowed to live abroad, which is almost not gonna happen unless you are your own boss and you "create" your own job if you will

-you take your 4000$ to bali and where other "digital nomad" fuck off, you live there for a few months then you have to go back home because you don't have any money left

Look the truth is no company is gonna hire you to fully work remote and enjoy your life somewhere else at your age. why would any company do that. honestly you should stick in the US and work it out for some years, live with your parents and earn money and experience

Nowhere, 4000 is not enough and reading through the thread you are CLEARLY not the kind of guy who can take a one-way flight to Cameroon with two grands in his pocket and become the king of the savannah through sheer grit, sleaze and weird ideas.

>What would /trv/ recommend an anon like me to go?
Buy a rope for $10, neck yourself.
