Imagine yourself solo-travelling, just being in wrong place in wrong time, then next minute you are awfully burned laying suffering on the street, dying very painful and very slow death, thousands of kilometers from family or anyone who speaks your language, totally dependent on awful healthcare of shithole country you are in. Not really, no. I'm a pretty tall and strong guy, so I think in the event of a fire I could just push people out of my way and get to safety.

No, if anything I’d be afraid of crowd crush/stampede since I watched livestreams while it was happening, seeing those people turn blue and die but still standing up was wild, especially since the white guy managed escape by climbing. It happens every year during the Hajj, and it’s a miracle it doesn’t happen during more mass holidays like in China where tiny hallways are jammed with millions of people.
