Long story short, 24 years old and like many burgers, I can't fucking stand living in this shithole any longer. I can already hear the "lol USA is actually amazing" comments, but I'll do a brief explanation. Country is wonderful for nature. I have been to nearly all US states, and I do enjoy some smaller cities. NOLA, Savannah, small town midwest, and mountain west towns are great. This being said, US has zero high culture. Our Capitol is a fucking sad mockery of what any medium sized Euro city has to offer. I like the US, but living in it wagefagging is not for me. If you're rich or uninspired, great. Live in suburban sprawl and die at 70 having done nothing. As for me, I want out.At this point, I'm going to go perma travel mode for the time being. I'm in school online and want to eventually become a Professor, but that's at least 6 years away. I can make at least 1K a month anywhere in the world, which is enough just about anywhere (except the US, another reason I hate this shithole). Anyone have any tips on this? I'm leaving in a month and a half. Starting in London, and going to slowly move across Europe and into Central Asia. Anyone here do super low budget long term? How do you deal with health emergencies? Any hidden gem medium sized cities in Asia that are overlooked?
>>2830330That’s a really convoluted way to say>I can’t get my dick touched in America because the mediocrity of white men in comparison to other races has been blasted on social media. Therefore, I will travel to poor countries where being a white guy from America still carries weight solely because of the poverty and ignorance of these countries
>>2830330You sound like a massive fag.>This being said, US has zero high cultureWhat the fuck does that mean? Name a country with "high culture". Austria? Japan? If you lived there your whole life you'd probably get bored too. And besides, "culture" is for tourists. You live in a country in order to live. If you want culture you can travel somewhere else, or go to some larping club on weekends.>Our Capitol is a fucking sad mockery of what any medium sized Euro city has to offer.Capitals are just cities for housing government. Most countries are small enough where they basically only have 1 large city that hogs all the commerce, but USA is large enough where you actually have multiple worthy cities across the whole country to start a life and do business. The capital doesn't need to be the largest city. In fact, if your capital is also the largest city, that just shows your country is kinda hollow
>>2830330I live a healthy life of my choosing on less than $1000 per month in the US. You have to accept some degree of deprivation if you choose to live under such a limitation, no matter where you go in the world. Yes, staying in one place gets boring, especially when social opportunities are limited (i.e. you're not Mr Popular Man-around-town). Hating everything and everyone around you is not a proper response to feeling bored. Let's be honest here. Most of the world is boring. That's why tourists always gravitate to a small handful of destinations, where things are kept lively for the deliberate purpose of separating tourists from their money.>moving into Central Asia with winter fast approachingYeah, that's gonna be tough. Can't wait to hear all about the high culture of a frozen steppe village at -30 C in a snowstorm.
>>2830330DC is great. The fuck are you on about.
>>2830330this has to be the stupidest fucking post i have read, congrats op.>I'm in school online and want to eventually become a Professor, but that's at least 6 years awayinsane how unaware the average person is of where technology is going
>>2830383Easiest replaced jobEveryone has a digital professor who gives them one on one attention and instruction. No more classroom learning. But somebody will have to make sure the students get taught orthodoxy.
>>2830330>This being said, US has zero high cultureWhen people say this I instantly know they are an NPC. I am sure the OP is meme'ing but I laugh at this always.Americans are so dumb repeating a shitty Europoor take because they went to NYC or Miami and went "huh sucks". American culture is all over it's just one of the more modern things out there compared to other countries. If you can't find culture in america be a good goy tourist and go pay Asianman 100 dollars to go "wow you not like other tourist you such understanding white man".
>>2830330>>2830367Bro, I am from here, DC is undoubtedly not great. The actual city is not the worst, but the suburbs around here are some of the most soulless ever.Don't let locals like this who always seem super defensive about DC gaslight you, anon. You know these things, crime is a mess, people are mean, yeah it isn't that good.
>>2830420>the suburbs around here are some of the most soulless ever."Why don't neighborhoods that people want to have a quiet place that aren't hearing the hekkin hustle and bustle of city and urban youth not have my vibe shit?"If you're in DMV/NoVA you have one of the best bus networks to take you through multiple states and even across the bay and a metro setup. If you're 24 and can't understand why neighborhoods and suburbs are quiet, please never reproduce. Please give examples of what SOUL is and inb4 neon lights in a city during a rainy night is SOVL. Get good you just want instagram updoots.
>>2830402>American culture is all over it's just one of the more modern things out thereWhen people say this I instantly know they are an NPC. I am sure the poster is meme'ing but I laugh at this always.Americans are so dumb repeating a shitty glowbitch take from earlier years when glowcunts tried to push the modernity of American "culture" as an increase of pressure against Soviet influence in parts of the world because they went somewhere like outside of NYC or Miami and went "huh this is awesome. I love negroes, fat people, mindless consumerism, and hate the West. Yeah bro Hitler's the devil!" American culture is all over it's just one of the more modern things out there compared to other countries. You can't find such SSRImaxxing culture outside of america. It's literally the current year! You just aren't modern enough to love America. So be a good goy tourist and go pay Anglo/jewman 1000s of dollars to stay in shitty hotel rooms with terrible service attitudes almost everywhere you go and go "wow you not like other tourist you such understanding white man".
trying too hard you blew the bit
>>2830433Yep. Circle back to my previous point. >>2830332I only started thinking about traveling overseas when it became difficult for me to get my dick touched. For the 5-7 years I had a thriving social life and was constantly getting pussy I never questioned the culture of America or any of this tripe. And yes, I grew up in Montgomery County and was within walking distance of the border into Georgetown. Growing up DC stood for Dicktouch Central So yea OP just say the quiet part out loud next time
>>2830330Nobody actually answering OPs question. I perma travel, I have about $1800 to $2000pm but still like to spend $1000pm if I can.I don't really have tips except gratitude and stay in the right countries. Ultra cheap countries in my experience:>Kyrgyzstan >Pakistan >Indonesia >Laos>IndiaPractice gratitude every day to stay comfortable and grateful in your position. You are gonna be eating local food all the time, sleeping in dorms, taking the worst public transport. Thank God you are free. Also, get used to hitchhiking. It's actually incredibly liberating. I hitch when I don't have to financially, I just like the freedom and serendipity of it and how it's on my time.I don't have health insurance but I have the money to pay for emergency care. I just think travel insurance companies always refuse to pay anyway. No tips on this one. You will get emergency care regardless of insurance but the care is mind-blowingly bad at times. Looks like you're just gonna have to eat that risk.
>>2830330>1K a month>Starting in London
>>2830330Why don't you wanderlust for a little while and then work in esl? It will take you on an adventure and you can get out of it what you put in. Take languages lessons, cooking lessons, cultural dance or sports activities. Once you are a qualified professor you can work at universities and earn a lot more, or you could even work for the elites as a tutor and make a lot that way. So you know in London, there are many people that would pay you to teach their kids especially if you went to a good school, have a lot of experience, or have a speciality or high achievement. But do the wanderlust first, when you are young is the best time to go
>>2830458>Why don't you wanderlust for a little whileStop calling it that, makes me want to stop travelling. Why'd you have to make it gay
>I like the US, but living in it wagefagging is not for me.what do you think the rest of the world is doing lol ? 1k a month and you wanna go to london ? lmao you'll literally be homeless in a couple of days. matter of fact, 1k a month and you'll be homeless actually pretty much anywhere even in 3rd world country. Or you'll just have a shit lifestyle and you'll wish you never leftstay in the US, because you can wageslave (like the rest of the world) but you guys make high salary
>>2830332>>2830433>>2830437This is why I shouldn't've posted this shit. Every time you dare criticize the land of the sweatpants and $80 hotel rooms you get whiney faggots saying "it's actually the coolest country ever". I have no issue getting my cock touched, I'm just not a degenerate looser who only thinks about sex. I like Classical music. Where the fuck in the US am I going to find something like Bayreuth or Vienna? Getting my cock sucked is easy no matter where you go, we live in the most whorish time on Earth. I'm not some gigachad, I'm just a normal dude who isn't a turboautist. I want to leave this country because 1. I've seen lots of it, and 2. It fucking sucks for anything human capital related, I can't believe I have to convince people of that fact.
>>2830335>>2830367>>2830383>>2830402Tell me then, where in this country am I going to find the Louvre? Where can I find a $7 per night party hostel with free breakfast? Care to elaborate? It's expensive, and all the cities are the same horseshit. "Woah! They have a microbrewery in an old warehouse and a $100 cover!!! I can't wait to see the oldest building in the city! Built by Frank Lloyd Wright in.... OH WOW 1894!! SO CRAZY!!". Meanwhile I can go to Samarkand or Leptis Magna and see more history than in the entire state of Michigan. The US had plenty of bullshit to do, but zero class. "High Culture" is defined by an epistemological end towards the divine. This country is founded on soulless aesthetic enlightenment values. What I actually like is something that can transcend mere "aesthetic". An easy example is the use of architectural orders in wrong ways. You see Doric columns used in America that should be used for Ionic and vice versa. Braindead country, which is why architecturally it's so ugly. >>2830439Interesting, have you tried living in more expensive countries on that amount? I've seen hostels in most Euro cities for under $20 a day, so it seems pretty doable.
>>2830464>Interesting, have you tried living in more expensive countries on that amount? No. I like tropical weather, good service, cheap lattes but nice cafes and freedom. I don't have to budget in the 3rd world.
>>2830464>Tell me then, where in this country am I going to find the Louvre?DC. The National Gallery is great. Didn't read the rest.
>>2830459Why don't you suck a cock so I don't have to hear that idiotic voice from your dick sucking mouth?
>>2830439Whats your reason for traveling ? Just for thrill and lifestyle? How old are you?I still like to travel kind of rough and cheap but prefer riding a bicycle to camp, move at my own pace and be in nature. All the dorm rooms and public transit would beat me up so much! Does that also wear on you or have you learned to love it?
>>2830466you sound like a woman.
Can you americans please make a general for these threads? there is about 4 up at the moment about burgers leaving their homeland because they are fed up (administration will change in 3 years anyway kek)
>>2831080The sad fact of it is that the Americans most inclined towards whining about their country and threatening to leave constantly are the ones who wouldn't last five minutes actually living in a different culture, so they end up in miserable expat enclaves or just going home.
