I have a remote job based out the US but have to work with a lot of Asians & indians next year and don't want to fuck with the timezones. I already pay $2k a month for rent & food in the states so I figure I might even save money. Has anyone done this with a real corporate job? Not some swe drop shipping shit. Will I get bored and depressed after like 3 weeks or is this a good idea or too much effort? I am already a loner but i want to explore and live in random air bnbs in different cities and get mercury poisoning from sushi
>>2830380>DN >JapanGood luck enjoy being fucked by double taxes, just go for 3 months do a month in Korea or Taiwan and then do another 3 month go before heading home. Just don't scream IM HEAR FOR WORK! and have your onward ticket for travel
>>2830390i asked mr chatgpt he said you wouldn't pay any jp tax it's basically same thing except I can't get deported
>>2830393It required a minimum tax when they first announced it and some other fee's not sure if it got revised.> it's basically same thing except I can't get deportedOkay yes if you are actually too retarded to make a basic itinerary of some bullshit weeb things and keep your mouth shut about working abroad, yes apply for the visa like a good boi. Then feel like a retard at the amount of Russians working in hostels and coffee shops, who did the one simple thing of keeping their mouth shut.
>>2830380The Jap DN visa isn't worth it man. All that paperwork for 6 months and it won't lead to meaningful better access to accomodation or anything else, better off just doing what that other anon says. Just dip over the border after 3 months and come back. Taiwan is close and just as fun, get 3 months there too.
>>2830380You have to do it on the down low and make it look like you are just a long term tourist. The biggest issue is getting an apartment to rent to you without scamming you AND finding a place that’s fully furnished. Will you save money on rent? Yeah, but you are living in a shoe box and probably not in the heart of one of the bigger cities. Outskirts or suburbs maybe. Forget having a car, bicycle or E-bike is the best you are going to do. Learn the fucking language, for real. You will feel utterly isolated if you can’t. There are rental companies that specialize in getting shorter term apartments to gaijin, you’ll pay a bit of a premium for it but it eliminates language barriers and the risk of getting scammed. You’ll be better off getting a six month lease, eating the rent for a month while you fuck off in Cambodia or Thailand and then coming back. The DN visa is whack. The only thing that makes Japan even worth it for DNs is the fact that the Yen is in the toilet. >t lived near Fukuoka for 6 months.
