Sometimes now when traveling I search primarily for accom, rather than the destination itself.Sometimes it's nice just to chill the fuck out in a kino setting and larp as something, rather than going to carbon copy city #5.Recently came across Adrere Amellal in Siwa Oasis - a hotel on an oasis in the Sahara with no electricity for guests, personal servants, and a "5-star restaurant experience". You basically get to larp an ambassoador traveling through the Mali Empire. King Charles stayed here before. Any other examples? It doesn't have to necessarily be generic 5 star hotel resorts, but places to stay which are an experience within themselves.
>>2833844I only really have experience in Latin America but something to look for if you have money is fincas. They're basically pool houses you can find on airbnb/verbo. The hosts are often much more accommodating and professional than those in America and they very relaxing. Often they're rented for large parties but if it's just you and a handful of others it can be super chill.
