Food is expensive. Drinks are expensive. Taxis are expensive. I used to live in the city and I’d say it cost me $20 just to walk out my front door.

Most museums have discounted/pwyw days but it depends what museum you want to go to. Hotel can of course be highly variable as well but you're probably looking at $200+ a night for basic one in Manhattan.

I’d say about 800-950$I was in new york months ago and didn’t spend more than 700$ for 5 days the hotel I stayed in was 90$ I got a really good deal
