Going to Atlanta from Seattle for Thanksgiving Which is the better route overall?
>>2838827they're both shit
>>2838827I would stay off the interstate until missouri. Go the northern route, but cut south by Yellowstone, go along the teton, winds, and over into casper and across middle or northern nebraska and cut south after 2 ends for NE kansas.
>>2838836Thanks!
>>2838841Also if you go that northern route and cut through wyoming's mountain ranges you should check the weather first before leaving as you may be fucked if it ends up snowing
>>2838827fyi it will have started snowing in the Wastach and probably the rest of the Rockies by then. Be careful, pack extra socks, a warm coat, and have enough emergency cash on hand for a potentially expensive hotel room to wait out the snow plows.
>>2838827Fly instead. Winter driving through the mountain west is awful even without all the illegal pajeets driving semi trucks.
>>2841355Yeah, this route sucks and you're going to be in too much of a hurry to enjoy anything anyway. Driving 5000 miles sounds like hell. Flights between SEA and ATL are like $500-$800 right now but that's still probably cheaper than gas and days worth of hotels.
