At this point I pretty much make it a point to avoid places that are either overly popular (lines of people staring at their phones like here, "you must go to Y if you're at X!) or extremely high rated on Google and such (it's either they give free whatever for a review or it's hypeniggers going "I haven't been yet but it's gonna be so fucking great 10 outta 10").It's always a subpar experience at double the price. The moment some place can survive off unending volume of guests the quality goes down the drain.

It's always authentic experience this, local spot that, hidden gem and so all. You pass by the place and it's literally all tourists there. It's my second favorite after "great prices, lovely owner, finally no scamming!" (the place scalps them double, they just have no idea what things actually cost).Generally reviews by tourists about anything should be discarded and ignored entirely unless they're 1 stars full of hate and anger. Then you should read those and check whether it's legit issues noticed by someone who finally isn't completely clueless or just some retard seething shit's not like back home.
