>That'll be $250, plus tax and tip.But seriously, what do you guys pack your stuff in?I've been using the same duffle bag for 15 years.
>>2840893I unironically have that bag and I like it.
>>2840893I need a new backpack, so I am traveling to India (where that $250 bag is made for $25 and sold for whatever price he thinks he can get a foreigner to pay)
>>2840913>I need a new backpack, so I am traveling to IndiaIt's not worth it, turn back now while you still can
>>2840893only retards still tip
>>2840913savers, a thrift store, has an entire isle of them
>>2840893just use a high quality backpacke.g.>Ortlieb>Vaude>Deuterall make really good, high quality and reasonably priced ones (at least below 250€)>But seriously, what do you guys pack your stuff in?my main backpack is custom made by a local leather craftsmanit's 6y old now and probably will be good for another 60y...it's less expensive than you thinkmine was ~400€also it's easily repairable (if something ever should break like the zipper)so unless it gets stolen, I'll die wearing this backpack
I use my mum's old Karrimor backpack from the 80sit was built to last
>>2840893I use my normal backpack because i'm not a begpacker, i have a suitcase, and i don't want to look like a tourist.

>>2842201no that's a feature, throwing it away after 1 day is how it prevents you from getting cancer
>>2842201My $20 Puma bag has been going strong for seven years now. The zippers still work flawlessly.
cant find the one i have online, looks like this but with side straps that squash it down. remember being it around this price though. 5 years old maybe?
>>2840893>But seriously, what do you guys pack your stuff in?Usually some drunk Thai whore
I used this while traveling SEA. I got it specifically because it’s lockable and secure. Also got a hip pouch from the same company, for passport, wallet, $$, etc. It’s not stoping a nigger with a knife or a gun, but it’s enough of a deterrent to make most would-be-thieves would look for easier pickings.
>>2842364kek.
>>2842367Why do so many people feel the need to buy something to store their wallet, phone, passport, extra cash when any pair of regular pants already includes a pair of front pockets which are suitable for the task? They must be the same NPC goycattle who buy neck pillows and power banks, just because they're the "in" thing.
>>2840893If it's longer than a 3-5 days I bring a suitcase costing roughly £50 on sale, the awkward thing is I cannot recommend a bag because airports & planes constantly change their rules on sizes; check stores like TKmax, outfitters or thrift stores they tend to have cheap cases, if you want to be very very cheap, you can sometimes get one from a waste disposal or check around town near apartments/universities will have discarded cases that may or may not be usable. As for backpacks, I use a 'Venture' backpack, who make them specifically for carry-on luggage, they are square/rectangular in shape and can be lockpadded if necessary that they be checked in; costs roughly £20 - £40 and is a little more waterproof, you could also just buy a sailor's canvas drawstring duffle/dry-bag for less, at about £5 - £20 (more if you want the waterproofness) and those are good because they're dead cheap, no loss if you lose them.
>>28424911. Pickpockets 2. Because it’s easier to keep track of all that shit when it’s in one place. 3. It’s just handy to have a small pack sometimes. 4. I hate having anything in my pants pockets. Looks sloppy and feels annoying. Just personal preference.
>>2842199the suitcase stays at the hotel
>>2842491what kind of airheaded yuppie giganormie do you have to be to not know what a pickpocket is
I've visited or transited through 20+ countries since 2017 with this one. I got it on the recommendation of le reddit. It's quite versatile for keeping a week's worth of stuff or just a few items plus my laptop.
I've been using pic related as both a travel and a daily use bag for I don't know how long and it's never steered me wrong, easily packs a week worth of clothes + plenty of remaining space if I get something extra while traveling.I don't know what it's made of but it feels like it can hold much more stuff than other 20L+ bags I tried. If anything posting about it made me realize I should buy an extra one just in case something ever happens to it.
The same $50 red JanSport I got from my brother as a hand-me-down in high school over a decade ago.
>>2842528>what backpack do you use>UH GUYS I'VE BEEN TO 20 COUNTRIES ANDI hate this board
>>2843065Those are rookie numbers compared to many people on this board. I was simply highlighting that it's held up to lots of abuse over the years. Don't get butthurt.
>>2843065oh yeah well i've been to 300 countries
>>2840913>instead of paying $250 I paid only $25 plus the cost of a return flight to India, accommodation, and deworming tablets when I got home! Bargain!
