Moved to Orlando FL recently. I've had 0 luck getting jobs in my previous home but I figure I might have a better chance here, and I'm thinking of working at a theme park since I like theme parks so much.
How good are theme park jobs?

They're the best jobs in the world. Happy, easy, energetic, fun. Poor pay though.

If you have a pulse they'll hire you for something.

Spoiler alert if you work rides you'll probably be pulling extra hours regularly, 12 hour days aren't uncommon. If you're over about age 21 I wouldn't go that route. They don't hire managers and supervisors off the street either, so prepare to spend the next 3-5 years to get the lowest level managerial job–at a minimum, and there are very few of those compared to wagie positions.

Ask about various departments and see what they offer. Security will probably pay the most hourly of the entry level positions. Overnight jobs like cleaners will have higher pay but it's not glorious work of course.

Tons of gay people work at theme parks, it's a homo fuck fest really, if that's your thing you'll be happy if it's not, be prepared. If you're straight it's still kind of a fuck fest. Expect high school mentalities too, lots of gossip, drama, and rumors go around. Lots of backstabbing too, don't be too trusting, people will roll their friends under a bus for advancement.

On the other hand it can be fun if you want it to be fun, just don't expect to make it a career. Most wagies burn out after a year or two. Hopefully by the time you're sick of it you'll have already moved on. If you like theme parks chances are it will be worth your while, pay excepted.

You'll always have friends and always have something to do. The people are gorgeous, too.
