I've been in Argentina since Trump's inauguration and the leftists here have been in "Fuck América" mode since. People go out of their way to be a pain in the ass and belligerent.

I flew back to the USA for my birthday around election time and Avianca (a Colombian company) chose me on both layovers in Bogota for "random" additional screening. I held residency in Colombia for years. Worth avoiding.

They've been resentful since the beginning, they look down on themselves, always say they love their home and not chasing America but they are in fact chasing America (and Canada, etc) for money and a better life. The dissonance in their heads makes them crazy. As for those that are happy at home, they aren't going to feel bothered by you because they don't want what you have and they'll welcome you to their homeland.
