Which cities have the most overrated nightlife/social life? I'll start:
>NYC
>too expensive to do literally anything
>people are either smug joo boys, good lifer trustfunders, or finance bros
>ratio of women is vastly overstated, and decent chunk of uggos at any function. Also noticed Americans are way less willing to mingle with strangers and if they do its very superficial at best.
>everyone is super irony poisoned, obnoxious, and smug
>Despite higher number of tallfags and chads in Europe, for some reason NYC women are more heightpilled and annoying about it.
>Women in general more cold and offputting yet simultaneously loud and obnoxious, despite the stereotypes I found German women to require less jestermaxxing and more approachable in bar settings. Also just generally more uninteresting people.
>General annoying amerimutt customs like having to tip your uggo dyke bartenders, overpriced drinks, superficial small talk that leads nowhere.
>Doesn't need to be stated but way too many joggers at night in nightlife areas, heavy coping from locals about safety in general

Those are my general observations after living in NYC for about 2 months. I never understood the memes about how it is some paradise for single men, in general there is a cut throat atmosphere among men I dont really notice compared to my time spent in most European countries. Unless you are super nichemaxxed or a decent looking tall guy and land a really good paying job in finance there are much better places even in non sexpat countries to try your luck in. I think if you are a white normie in looks you are better off just going to some mid sized European city with a large uni population. The neurotypicality levels in the US are also crazy, if you don't even slightly fit the "mold" i.e. super fake cheerful and fratty you are immediately ostrasized. I never really felt this in Germany and felt I could be more myself.

Tokyo is significantly overrated. Most places are dead by midnight. Clubs are mediocre at best and the vibe is some of the worst I've seen in the world. People are autistic and weird. The government is also trying to destroy whatever is left of the fun aspects of culture through forced gentrification of areas like Shibuya coupled with alcohol bans and retarded restrictions.

It's not even my top 3 in that part of Asia, but somehow people cream themselves over it constantly.

Thread is for subchad males

Agree with this one, I had more fun with nightlife in Dubai than in Nigami. Too expensive, and you'd think there would be more loose latinas to smash, with or without money. You can get your moneys worth in Dubai as well, also despite the amount of prozies would still match with normie women on apps.
>>2842943
I have heard Osaka is better in that regard.
>>
>>2842843
>blah blah blah eurofag that doesn't understand or appreciate American culture
You would show us no sympathy for these types of complaints in euroland, so we will do the same
>>
>>2842843
lol you must be an aspie if you can't find people to get along with in New York.
>>
>>2843137
Yeah ya think its a guy who says maxxxing for everything.
>>
>>2843051
I don't understand why this has to be a competition. I'm American and get what he's saying. American mainstream culture is sick.
>>
>>2843137
I never said I didn't. what is that even supposed to mean? I just found most people to be uppity and obnoxious.
>>2843139
Even when normies throw out maxxing unironically I play dumb. I never reveal my power levels in real life, I am actually pretty neurotypical and extroverted generally speaking.
>>
>>2843182
>>2843455
You're just some punk euro who got babby's first culture shock when you spent time in America. No one cares. We've all heard this story a thousand times already.

Whatever faggot these are my observations, sorry I didn't like jew york enough.
>>
>>2842843
Really any 2nd tier US city aping 2010s Brooklyn for the downwardly mobile Wingstop-Americans. Nashville comes to mind as slop city for this stuff.
>>

I feel the opposite.
No comment about nightlife but people and chicks seemed much friendlier and open in NY than Germany (idk about Berlin though).

At my first evening in NY local chicks invited me to their table in a restaurant to share the food with me and later we went bar hopping and they paid me drinks.

This never happens to any guy in forever in Germany, because it's just not a culture where women are that friendly and open to strange men.
Most friend groups in Germany are very cliquey and protective and form social bubbles difficult to break in.
Strange men are treated with suspicion, exhanchging numbers means nothing. To have a lasting impression youn have to be known in their social circles beforehand already.
Not just women but people in general are already frigid.

There's a reason why so many immigrants in Germany get notoriously depressed and even move back.

The only reason I could explain your experience is because you're American and they see you as a way out since Germany currently has a very bad living atmosphere. Not that the US is perfect but atleast you can make money, have good weather and there's friendly people around.
>>
>>2843517
Maybe I did have a burger halo effect there but I am not sure. Are you German? My experience was based in Berlin and people were just way more willing to have a good time there. Also are you 180+ and decent looking? As a sub180 manlet I have never experienced that in new york
>>
>>2842843
I live in NYC and i completely agree, the women here are a different kind of crazy. they constantly complain about how they cant find men but they're only looking for 6ft+ rich finance bros. i think money/status matters more than height here, as most of the women here are obsessed with their careers.

>>2843517
are you nonwhite? the only other thing women here are obsessed with is dating nonwhites, and the nonwhite women are obsessed with white guys which sucks.
>>
>>2842843
Berlin
very very overrated

If you're a halfway decent looking foreign guy American women will drop their parties for you
>>
>>2844419

It's like that everywhere, when I'm at any major intl tourist destination the white women are always with non-whites
>>
Anywhere in Australia, even Melbourne.
DESU clubbing at night is overrated. Beach raves in the afternoon are much fun.
>>
>>2844624
yeah its absolutely crazy that every single rich person, regardless of race, dates white women. they're the only women attractive enough for rich people to take seriously. the entire ruling class of the next generation are going to be at least half white.
>>
>>2844624
Yeah I've never seen that anywhere. You are either seeing a few examples and losing your mind or you're full of it.

I have seen more white zoomettes with asian guys but tbf the trend seems to have died down a bit this year since I came back from being abroad, I think anime/kslop/asian fatigue has kicked in a bit.
>>
>>2844555
Only in places like NYC, suburban white foids are actually turned off by it and only like fratty jock types
>>
>Also noticed Americans are way less willing to mingle with strangers and if they do its very superficial at best.

Eh, while I was going to discredit your post as run-of-the-mill Euroseethe, I actually get what you're saying. New York has all those problems. When I go down to the city, ordinary bars hate me because I think they can smell the ruralfag poorfag aura, I don't look or carry myself as they do. HOWEVER, it's still a great city as long as you get a little niche. And every niche exists in NYC. I happen to like heavy metal music and whenever I visit the city to see a show, suddenly everybody is really nice and approachable and outgoing. Same when I've went down for a Surf Rock show, I've got a good friend who takes the train there for techno raves and jungle nights, whatever subculture you want to dive into tends to be pretty welcoming. I think those guardrails are up for normie clubs specifically because they're normie, i.e. implicitly overpopulated in an overpopulated city. The right way to do NY as a tourist for me has always been to find some small scene where even liking it enough to show up gives you some credit. Maybe try getting into some subculture you enjoy, it's so much easier to socialize in a room full of less than thirty people who share a common interest. And again, in such a large city, it's one of the only places where you're practically guaranteed to find anything you like.
>>
I live in NYC and i can say it fucking sucks here, the women are awful and overdemanding, everything is way too expensive, you have to avoid wreckless homeless people everywhere, and the subway sucks. if you're brown or from another country i recommend nyc because all of these shallow sluts just want to fuck someone foreign and it fucking sucks.

In Africa, the purpose of studying abroad in Europe and America is for the children of the upper class to find white spouses and bring them back to their homeland. This is no way for African nations to develop.

As a degen drinker/club dancer, here's some city nightlife reviews
>Ho Chi Minh City
>drinking spots for locals different than in the west: they like to eat while drinking, often outside on the street in the little chairs
>as such, the nightlife areas and club dancing spots are tourist flavored
>Bui Vien: worth going to once, in full swing it's a sight to see. The bars are usually loud affairs, not much dancing going on by customers. Instead, they have skimpily dressed Gogo dancers. Most of the tourists are either young hipster types or boomer men with their Viet "girlfriend." I chatted up these boomers who, unprompted, would told me about the "invader" problem in their home countries and that they were cheating on their wives. Some massage parlors on the side streets. I'm not a coomer, but I think these pretend to be full service type places to lure degens but just give regular massages. The policy presence is very heavy.
>Japantown: Has legit Japanese style restaurants and bars that cater to the surprisingly large Japanese tourist contingent. The farther in, the more seedy it becomes. Bars are full of bar-girls who will literally drag you in and drain your wallet dry. I tried one once - the bar-girls were hilarious, very touchy, but of course I got low-key scammed when they started opening drinks for themselves without asking/me not drinking. It was a fun one-time experience though.
>Thao Dien: A mostly residential and commercial area where the wealthier tourists will stay. Lots of Koreans and Americans to stay in a quiet hotel and shop at one of the large malls. There's tons of bars sprinkled in this area for crawling, but they are tourist focused. In the other two areas you at least have a chance of interacting with Vietnamese, local or tourists themselves, but Thao Dien is absent of them. Many of the shop owners are expats.
Overrated? Hard to tell because I don't know HCMC's reputation. I've been twice and have no intention of going back, but I did have fun.

Now to compare with Hanoi. It's harder for me to review it, as I only went to Hanoi once. Hanoi is also smaller and it only has one true nightlife area: The Old Quarter. However, I stayed in this area and spent a decent amount of time walking, eating, and drinking. The Old Quarter has a smattering of bars, clubs, live-music, and restaurants, but the only significant concentration is on one street.
>P Ta Hien aka Beer Street
>Like Bui Vien in HCMC but smaller
>loud bars with seats facing the road
>some bars employ Gogo dancers
>some have bar-girls, but it is nothing like Japantown - much more low-key
>also unlike Bui Vien, there is actual dancing for the customers late into the night when the bouncers move the tables and chairs
>just like in HCMC, occasionally they will try to drag you into the bar and can be very aggressive
Hanoi's nightlife scene is small, but it was more enjoyable to me. I could actually dance, there were some locals in the mix, the workers were not as aggressive, and it didn't feel as scammy as HCMC. I'd say Hanoi is underrated.

Hes just telling you the truth, you are ugly and uncharismatic. If you were actually white aka over 6ft light eyes and light hair and knew any level of body language you would have a great time.
>>
>>2846972
he fucked the next best looking thing white men.
>>
London has something for everyone, but not much of anything that often unless you're into boarding school boys making boring post punk/wank indie
>>
Berlin. Clubs far between and they will deny you if not dressed like a degenerate. Also still depends on cash, and that's third world tier to me.
>>
>>2842843
Budapest.
There's some cool places (like any city) but all the ruin bars are huge tourist traps and the clubs (especially the more popular ones) are complete dogshit. Most drug dealers are scammers and Hungarians aren't the most friendly and welcoming so you'll basically be limited to interacting with tourists who are mostly just dickhead brits and aussies on lads holidays.
If you're a tourist passing through it's good to visit and spend a night or two but for nightlife Prague, Krakow, Bratislava, Zagreb and hell even Vienna all have more to offer than that fucking bore of a city.
>>
>>2853139
Pretty much agreed. Vienna is fucking zzzzzzz though.

>OMG you need to be a literal psycho to find a good woman in NYC man!!

And someone else said that Australia and now Vienna is bad as well? I can't believe this shit. Just so many assumptions, stereotypes or generalizations. Also, women focused on their careers and looks are just like psychos as well, they are searching for the right guy and all that. Just go to the local gym and observe, women who go to the gym have a prevalence to be fucking psychos, make no mistake. At least you'll get fit by being jealous of these beautiful shores. Whores.

How much time have you guys spent on these places anyway?

Yeah, I came away disappointed from Berlin. Seems only worthwhile if you're an itk fag who loves railing mkat
