I personally found it to be a significant difference in quality of life.
>I lived freezing areas where harsh snowy windchill kept everyone indoors.
>I lived in subtropical areas where the sunshine and temperature was perfect for outings.
>I lived in rainy areas where the sky made the place feel dreary and travel plans become limited.
>I lived in desert areas where its too hot and dry to do anything fun.
Maybe that is why places like California are so expensive. Weather is nice moderate balance compared to other parts of America.

anywhere you can sleep 8 hours without waking up or needing an AC

As someone who is from Australia now living in a cold/rainy European country. Weather makes an extreme difference. Seasonal depression is a real thing. My winters in Australia are dry and not very often go below 8 degrees whereas here it is a lot different.

>seasonal depression
are you a woman?

Huge.
>wake up at 7AM, it's pitch black still
>get back home at 3PM, it's pitch black already
>the "day" you spend at work is nothing but dark overcast skies
Winter seriously makes you want to an hero. I time my travels to go somewhere sunnier for at least a few weeks in November-January. It's not the cold, it's the fucking constant darkness that gets you.

Not literal depression but it definitely makes shit miserable considering the weather in Australia where I am from is literally perfect from November to Feb, December and Jan are too hot.

I am used to having perfect weather put it that way

Sorry I meant to say, for the whole year it is perfect besides December/Jan as its too hot.
>>
Yep is has a huge impact, 40c+ & 80%+ humidity is hell on earth, 0c to 15c sucks and anything under 0c is a different kind of hell.

Cool climates are better for a life of outdoor exertion. Hot climates are better for the low-effort leisure life. As someone with minimal body fat, I prefer sweating to shivering. Tropical chaos and dirt to the dreary neat streets of the cold latitudes in winter.
>>
8-14 Celsius and sunny is best weather for sightseeing and active /trv/ life.
Weather now in England or Greece is perfect, it's like warm autumn in colder eastern European countries

Yeah this. Cold idgaf, there are good winter activities. But working while theres like 4-7 hours of daylight? Fuck that shit I will move south
>>
Cold countries = Canada, Sweden, Finland, Norway -> All antisocial, boring shitty leftist reddit countries
Hot countries are filled with people that like to have fun and have sex in the morning.
I like the cold weather but cold countries all have shitty people.

The forests and deserts of the equator are widely renowned for their tolerant, hospitable and non-violent peoples.
