Am thinking of trekking Peru for 2-3 weeks and want to bring my lifelong companion. 100lb shepherd. Any experiences or tips on international flight with a large dog? Is it even still realistically doable outside of a ridiculously priced charter flight?Am trying to avoid boat travel for extended periods. Could drive from NA to Peru of course, but that is itself a long expedition. Ideally I could fly and be with the dog.

Check quarantine rules for both entries, your dog might need to spend a couple of weeks in a cage.
