Have any of you cancelled trips to the US because of Orange Man?

Who the fuck travels to ski? You can ski basically anywhere outside the tropics. It's just skiing. If I'm American I ski in America. If I'm European I ski in Europe. Australian? Go to New Zealand. No need to fly across the world. And every second spent skiing is time lost you could be spending actually experiencing the country you flew to. It's like flying to golf, or eat at McDonald's.
Same with beach vacations. Literally everywhere has a beach.

Nobody cares about orange man but since the chinky flu the american price level is out of control. Hotels, food/restaurants, transportation, entry fees, mandatory tips and fantasy taxes it's all insane and more or less tripled.
It's no value, going to the US feels like paying a first class fee for a rock bottom economy experience while in europe it's easy to get at least a good business class experience for the same money.

retarded canadian boomers, that's who
>>
>>2846459
I tend to avoid politically unstable parts of the world, yes
>>
Everyone I know is not going to america now,,,
Most people are going to Canada as it is more friendly to foreigners, Trump killed the USA economy and people not want to travel because arrest for not white.
>>
>>2846459
yeah im thinking of going to LA or NY during the xmas/ny break. But I'm afraid i will get kidnapped by ICE and sent to Guantanamo since I'm brown.

Every mountain, every golf course and every beach aren't the same

I would have gone to America for New Year's but I changed my plans literally because of the dementia dictator.

>falling for NPR propaganda
Not even once

According to my cucknadian relatives, they're actually secretly seething about $1 USD to $1.40 CAD exchange rate and can't afford their usual vacation because prime minister cuckdeau fucked up their country so bad
>>
>>2846954
>exchange rate
That's really what this is about
>>
>>2846459
This is a propaganda title/angle to get you to click on the article. They buried the real reasons (weak canadian dollar and increase in domestic tourists) to say orange man bad. I live in the Flathead and I don't notice a difference in overall tourism. Yes there is less Canadian tourists but overall there's so much more domestic tourists. Also notice that they tracked Canadian "spending" at Whitefish boutiques, restaurants and shops; all stores in whitefish are overpriced and nobody except for the hyper rich can shop there. Also, lmao @ people traveling here to ski Big Mountain, enjoy the fog fuccbois.
>>
This should be great for locals, reduced ski passes hopefully? and pricing in general annoys me when people say " I am not travelling due to trump" etc, who gives a fuck about politics unless you are going to North Korea, the country is beautiful I am sure you can ignore your politics for 2 weeks

t. person who has never been to the USA
>>
>ski tourism reduced
Oh no!!! A bunch of arrogant cocksuckers won't flood small towns and shit up the place. The horror!
>>
>>2846459
I don't think it's orange man causing the problems, it's the people who hate orange man.

Hahahaha no. This is America we're talking about. You'll pay more, and you'll be happy. Welcome to the golden age.
>>
>>2846459

If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about. If you try to come here and you hate America's president and his allies, we will imprison you.

Foreign visitors are down, but the crowds at the ski resorts are up in the US. Park City and Lake Tahoe have gone insane with their ticket prices. I'm not paying $225 for a one day lift ticket. They raise the prices every season and they still haven't found the celling for the prices because it's still packed out west. You can absolutely fly from the US to Europe and ski in Chamonix for less than 3 nights in Tahoe. Chamonix is cheaper, more scenic and the city is so much better. But the snow is better in Tahoe. It's just become unaffordable for foreigners to ski here.

There are some deals left on the west coast. Brianhead in Utah still has $15 midweek tickets. Snow Bowl in Arizona is like $15 a day. Lee Canyon near Vegas is cheap, but it's small. But who would come from Canada or Europe to go to Vegas and ski at Lee Canyon?
>>
>>2847504
Want to travel to the US, but am worried about having to hand over my 4chan Gold account. Reckon they'll ask for it?
Also heard that some /trv/ers with dubs on their ESTA forms have just been waved through security.
>>
>>2847504
Does this affect Canadians and Mexicans?
>>
>>2847604
And many resorts are being bought by 2 companies, reducing competition. The crowds are way up too. I wonder what the limit is... will $300/day lift tickets be the norm in a few years at the top resorts? Will resorts implement Fastpass-like arrangements allowing you to skip lift lines? It wouldn't surprise me.
>>
>>2847504
Will I be shipped off to gitmo if I have no social media whatsoever?
>>
>>2847604
>$225
The funny part is adjusted to inflation/buying power that's $80 pre chinkyflu.
>>
>>2846459
I don't give a shit about skiing but I'm not going to the US while the military is deployed in cities.
>>
>>2847504
I technically have insta/Facebook accounts but don't use them/uninstalled how will that work - they'll just think I'm hiding something by not having it on my phone to look thru (when I just can't stand social media brainrot).

Any advice?
>>
>>2847854
It's probably worth opening an account and just doing some mundane actions. Not having social media is a HUGE no-no.
>>
>>2847859
Imagine living in a society that only trusts people that willing feed data to Palantir.

>The Trump administration is proposing to ask visitors from several dozen nations that enjoy visa-free travel to the U.S. to submit additional personal information before entering the country, including five years of their social media history, the Department of Homeland Security said in a notice this week.
>CBP said the changes, which still have to be reviewed by the White House's budget office, are designed to enforce an executive order President Trump issued earlier this year with the stated objective of denying entry to foreigners who may pose a threat to national security or public safety.

I really wish people would read more than a headline, it's a proposal for high-risk countries that have instability or known issues with people returning home to submit additional information regarding their personal life to ensure we can send em back. It's not even a requirement at this point, just a proposal to potentially implement. All trump did was open the door to allow CBP to ask more questions from people they suspect not wanting to return home.
>>
>>2847873
It's all one guy suffering from eternal TDS posting this shit all over /trv/ over and over again.
>>
>>2847873
The article you link says this would apply to low risk countries like the UK, France and Japan.
>>
>>2846459
Well seeing as the orange retard is destroying the economy we have less extra money to travel anywhere. So yeah, technically if you count putting off trips because shit is so expensive.
>>
>>2846606
if you're brown I don't want you to come so this is a really nice benefit desu. Asians can come (not SE) though
>>
>>2847859
How are Boomers an gen X'ers with no Soschul medier going ti travel now?

>The Brits have to show Shaniqua with DHS 5 years of Facebook history but the Japs can walk through customs with 512 gb of loli porn. Lmao.
>>
>>2847873
>high-risk countries
It applies to every ESTA country. UK, Japan, Finland, all of them.
>>2847891
Read the article. What he said is wrong and so are you. Miga sheeple such as yourself will believe any lies they are told.
>>
>>2846459
It's more because it costs more to ski now than it does to go to Disney.
