Where should I travel to spend Christmas and NYE alone? I'd prefer somewhere where normies won't notice me and I can just relax on a beach. Hawaii sounds nice but I was there once as a kid and it was full of homeless people.
appalachia, but you gotta get over the beach thing, there's other stuff to do
>>2847340Why are you spamming this in every single thread? I have nothing against Appalachia, but I don't know anyone there and from what little research I've done, it appears that meth and opioids are a huge problem in the less expensive areas. I don't judge drug users but why should I go there from where I am now?
>>2847338Shoulda made plans earlier. Most of the cheap hotels and flights are booked up already.
>>2847343Appalachian hereDon't have any connection with this spammer, but it's not a bad suggestion now that I think about it. Renting a cabin for a week in the mountains would be pretty comfy if you really want to get away from it all. I would do it myself if i had the moneyA cabin in the mountains anywhere would be nice i think
>>2847360>Shoulda made plans earlier. Most of the cheap hotels and flights are booked up already.I guess I could pay more. Where should I go, though?
>>2847366Would you know how to go about such a thing? What way to find rentals? What general area?
>>2847398Go wherever you want >where normies won't notice me That's literally everywhere. You're not that special. >I can just relax on a beach.Florida, or if you're too good for that, there are plenty of Caribbean islands to choose from. Just take your pick they're all the same.
>>2847407well, depends if you have the right vehicle for ityou will need winter/all terrain tires if you go to the snowy/higher elevation bits, but there's also southern appalachia, which should be less snowy (make sure to check the snow cover map)there's all sorts of micro-regions in appalachiajim thorpe is a cute (but crowded) tourist trap town in nepa which has a gorge you can hike in various waysyou will need "yak trax" or micro spikes for your shoes if you plan to see waterfalls or such there's also the famed ohiopyle falls of pa, the smokies for PURE normie stuff, the new river gorge, as well as other gorges such as red river of kentucky, or big south fork of tennesseeand you can just find things you like and go about trying to do hikes you find appealing or just sit in your cabin and have a fireairbnb has cheap listings, reputation and quality vary, there's always traditional cabin rentals, that costs more, then there's things like lodges such as blackwater falls - you get a great location but a dated motel vibe also recommend breaks interstate park and the adjacent pine mountain
