I'm going to be in Buenos Aires for two weeks in January for a grad student exchange ...

Is there any natural beauty or super cool thing you would recommend that can be visited in 1-3 days, over a weekend? I have like $45,000 debt racked up on a student line of credit so am on a budget, but can make sacrifices if need be
Patagonia (e.g. Lago Argentino) is allegedly expensive and also far as fuck from Buenos Aires, so as much as I love hiking not sure how to make that work
same thing with the Iguazu Falls - it is in Misiones province which apparently has a large Polish population (cool!) but is remote

> everything cool in Argentina is as far away from Buenos Aires as possible
so ironic. I'll consider it though
