I remember living here for a month. Cool surfing Hotspot in the south/west coast? but I didnt really get to explore as much of the country as I was mostly bed ridden to a spine injury. There was power outages and a gas shortage due to political unrest or some shit, and the places I rented out were full of mosquitoes, there was some kind of poo literal shit in the mosquitoe net at one of the gueshouses lmao. Im sure you could get much better accommodation paying a bit more but I was always trying to pay as little as possible when I was 22 and wanted to slum it for some fucking reason. Oh yeah also the drivers are crazy as fuck due to a mixture of south Asian buses and tuktuks mixed with Slavic suicidal DNA tourists with motorbike rentals all trying to pass you at once. Pretty cool place if your not injured honestly, the food in my experience mostly sucked and if your not planning on fucking another tourist I have no idea how to get in bed with a Sri Lankan girl.

In the more touristed ones, many European women shack up with local Sri Lankan surfer dudes and use them as toy boys. It's not even boomer bongs like in Senegal, it's women in their 20s and 30s. It ruined the trip for me.On the other hand, most Sri Lankan women are very conservative and will rarely speak to someone outside their family/family's circle. You may have some minor luck in Colombo though.
