I am from central Europe and in need of place for short vacation - end of december probably 30th till the 10th of January (some prolongation possible). I want it WARM. I dont want it too far away to have to fly for >10 hours etc. I like museums, history and architecture, temples, beautiful nature, "language learning", salsa dancing, techno, all this jazz. I heard even Greece now is <10 degrees and it gets dark at 4PM? DESU early darkness is the most depressing for me. Warmest and comfiest place in Europe or not too far away i can visit in this period if i hate darkness and cold temperature? 15 or 20 degrees is fine for me, just to have sun and longer days.Places i am interested in visiting but are either too far away or too cold:- Vietnam- Thailand again- Colombia- Peru- Greece- Turkey- India- JapanThings i consider more seriously for this period however still far away:- Morocco (Tanger to be exact)- Kenya (Nairobi or Mombasa)

My brother is in Syros and it had 15-18 degrees during the midday. I comparison Thessaloniki peaked at 10.If you want something in europe that will be sunny and not really cold then Malta is a good option too
