Thailand is done. Locals have tourist fatigue and jeets are invading in mass. I've been to every country in SEA (aside from Laos) and the best country BY FAR was Vietnam. But coomers hate Vietnam (which is one of the reason why it's good) so it probably doesn't apply to your average failure to launch 30 year old /trv/ retard whos desperate to travel thousands of miles to coom in some 35 year old gook hooker.SEA is done. >>2853766Vietnam isn't quiet like Thailand is; noise levels and traffic is more on par with India due to its much higher population density. And there's plenty of traveler reports complaining of Vietnamese rudeness, price-gouging and dishonesty even in rural villages. Laos was also a country of frequent dishonesty, but they are never rude or aggressive there. Yes, VN is still on my list of must-see countries, along with Indonesia. Not being a beach/coastal/lowland dweller, much of Vietnam's appeal is lost on me. But the highlands are fsscinating. The Balkans, not on my radar. Would rather visit Central Asia this summer than the Balkans, which have seen prices for everything soar in recent years (particularly during the summer holiday season).
