How do other /trv/ lurkers deal with the come-down from international vacations?As a wagie in a career-type job, I only get a few weeks per year to travel and explore the world. When I do, I have such a wide budget that I can do pretty much anything I want, which always turns into a crazy vacation high where every day is more awesome than the last. I've spent those vacations doing incredible things (kissing qt travelers, seeing amazing historical sites, eating fabulous local cuisines, etc.), but having gotten a taste for that has destroyed my perspective on everyday life. I feel like I'm craving adventure all the time, and regular life is just a bunch of bullshit. I appreciate having the stability, but I can't get the nagging feeling of yearning out of my head. Anyone feel the same way?

I used to feel like you, but then I realized working a wage job where someone tells me what I have to do like I'm a fucking toddler is at best slavery or at worst just death. I digress. Yeah I used to, then I just quit and started living it full time. I'm not rich so I can't do the crazy excursions and nice hotels, so it's a lot more like living normal life just in new places.

Mosty yes, actually.I take up creative writing, go to meetups, meet people, learning spanish with groups in cafes. Etc. Can even get into more expensive local hobbies like hunting fishing sailing piloting for the thrill of adventure near home.I live my life all the time, and now I barely want to travel anymore.
