What is there to do in Peru? What are the best places to see?
>>2857488lowest effort thread in a while. at least put some effort in.
>>2857490Agreed OP is kind of retarded. I recently took a 2 week trip and it was packed with unforgettable things. Went to Lima, Huacachina, Paracas, Arequipa, Colca canyon, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Macchu piccu, Palcoyo Mountain, Lake Humantay. I missed a bunch of places I didn't have time for. My biggest recommendation is stay away from the street food and if you book a cheap tour stay away from the buffet. Thank me later.

>>2857492What is there to do around Lima? I'm flying in/out of there but I don't know if it's worth spending time in Lima aside from the airport. And where's a good place to do wildlife stuff, like jungle treks and birdwatching? Did you do any of that.
>>2858805Nothing really mind blowing. Huaca Pucllana and Pachacamac Ruins I think were the two major historical sites. Larco Museum. Plaza Mayor, Santo Domingo Convent, Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, Lima Basilica and Catedral are all in the same place. Kennedy park and the Bridge of Sighs were my two favorite places to walk around, it looked and felt it I was in Europe.
>>2858805Didn't mean to double post. You'll have to set up a trip to the amazon for a few days, I didn't do it. It felt like a separate trip on its own and there were so many things to see in Peru itself. Most birds I got were the penguins in Paracas
