>>2860120go to San Francisco and get topped or something, i dunno
>>2860120Become a flight attendant; fly for free. Your work obligations is essentially part time (76~ hours a month), but you can pick up more. Since you're so young, get into a mainline (American Airlines, United Airlines) for the better contracts and union protections (United is in the middle of negotiations, but some say they are asking too much since they want the "best of the mainlines" while being the worst of the mainlines/best). American Airlines also doesn't have 24 hr reserve where your reserve days the first however many years you'll be low on the totem pole and get pickup flights (sometimes with just a few hours notice, but you know ahead of time your reserve days). American and other airlines have 12 hr reserve. Regionals pay less late career, but have faster home base of choice out of the initial training (like LAX). Short term might suck, but if you compare all their payscales, you can make decent money in the end. It's just very seniority based. Also, mainline you can fly internationally for work instead of mostly local. How much you'll be able to explore/adapt to time difference is up to your tolerance. For the oldfags reading, if you feel it's too late for that financial ramp up in payscale, look into regional. A lot of these companies are in the same network with other airlines.
