What are some good safe places to visit if looking for a war torn vibe? Not actual war zones but places that saw action and might have cool stuff to collect or see. Bonus points if the local women would be desperate enough to sleep with a fat gaijin.
>>2861888Probably Kurdistan is the most accessible recent region? Most of them aren't the best places
>>2861888Jerusalem/Bethlehem/Jericho would be a good place. I just got back from there. There weren't bombed out buildings (although in Tel Aviv I stayed next to a destroyed block that was hit by an Iran icbm) but lots of military, wire fences, walls etc. I went to visit the spot where Jesus was baptised near Jericho and some of the settlements out there reminded me of NCR outposts in fallout nv - shacks with a dozen Israeli soldiers hanging about looking bored.I met a palestinian girl in Bethlehem when I was waiting for the bus and we added each other on ig. She invited me to tour her Uni and wants me to convert to islam so we can marry. Some girls were making comments when I was at her uni and she translated that they were saying I hot basically lol
>>2862142oh also, as a white blond foreigner everyone was basically trying to get me on their side. I felt like a celebrity. Usually the IDF soldiers are dicks to all the Muslims but they always smiled at me and said 'welcome to israel :)"
>>2861888>good safe war torn placesThis is as bad as the "going to Cuba while they have an oil blockade" thread
>>2861888Bosnia or Croatia? You can still see buildings with bullet holes in the walls.
