Homeless and 120F heat in the summer. There's some nice stuff to do in northern Arizona around flagstaff though

Like what? I might visit that area soon. Is Sedona, Scottsdale and the grand canyon worth a visit?
>>
Are you coming in on the 10 or the 40? What do you enjoy doing?
>sedona
Yes. It's touristy and expensive but the views are no joke and it's nice for lunch. If you're coming up from Phoenix, after you leave take 89-A up through the oak creek canyon to meet with the 40 in Flagstaff. Probably the coolest drive in the state.
>Scottsdale
no.
>grand canyon
yes. weather is very nice right now for a day hike.

Skip Scottsdale
As the other guy said I can confirm sedona is basically a tourist town but it is extremely beautiful. Would probably not recommend more than an afternoon.

Grand canyon is quite literally one of the pinnacle things to view in america. Just don't go in the summer.

Thanks guys. Would Flagstaff or anywhere else be worth a visit on the same road trip?

What's the appeal of Scottsdale? Is it just the golf courses, shopping malls and resorts? I'm just wondering why some hype it up so much. I believe it's the most expensive part of AZ.

The order depends on which interstate you're driving in on, but if I had 2-3 days in AZ my list would probably be Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sedona, Jerome, pick something in Phoenix like the zoo or Saguaro National Park. If you have time to go down to Tucson/Tombstone I'd try to make it down there as well. Flagstaff, like Sedona, is a touristy town but has great views and is a good place to get lunch and walk around a bit. Jerome is an old copper mine built into the side of a mountain. Lots of cool architecture. Tombstone is kind of cheesy but they do a lot of wild west stuff and I loved it as a kid.

Also, Scottsdale is nothing special for a tourist. I don't know where people are hearing about it for it to be brought up in so many AZ threads. It's just an affluent suburb. There's a mall and a convention center, not much else.

>old town Scottsdale, so soulful and walkable, amirite?
It's a typical American sprawl hell transplanted onto a desert plain environment with xeriscaping and modernist reddish concrete everywhere that is supposed to vaguely mimic traditional adobe construction by matching the color of the desert soil. Supposedly the college girls are smoking hot and turbosluts, which is why anons always recommend visiting.

Yeah, guessing they're there for ASU, but doubt they're sleeping with dudes who aren't in their social circles or offering a sugar daddy arrangement.

If he wants the syrupy footjobs from the xhe/xer bipolar latinas he needs to come up to NAU

i pulled over in scottsdale to nap and the locals tapped on my window and asked if im a narc. made me realize that as big a shitshow los angeles is, nonmajor cities are just all poorfuck drones

Scottsdale/Paradise Valley are based as hell if you have money. Great resorts, good parks, Camelback mountain, a few good museums (Western Spirit), excellent restaurants. Desert Botanical Garden is beautiful.

Not that far from Fort McDowell Park which is worth a view for the desert drive and mountain scenery. Hiking if you're into that.

And yes, the women are insane. Lots of cutthroat climbers and gold digger types but they outclass even LA girls. You need to pack serious money or be a modestly successful Chadzilla with potential to get with them. I'm getting too old to chase the hot ones but I swear they do something extra to keep it tight. Scottsdale pussy grips like a retard with a rabbit. Charlie Kirk figured this out and fucked his Scottsdale stepford wife like no tomorrow before his untimely demise.

If you have to ask then you're still going to be a sexless chud no matter where you go. Phoenix is hitting 100 the earliest time ever next week. Don't move here for pussy if you don't like/tolerate the desert because it will break you. Save your buxx for a ticket to SEA like everyone else on this board.

There's a lot of hot college girls in Scottsdale. Super rich area, you'll see a bunch of luxury supercars.

As a Euro i always wanted to visit these arid parts of the USA just to enjoy the asthetics of it. I don't know why exactly maybe because it's the opposite of Europe where everything is very congested, while a place like Arizona has that open plane endless room big cactus wild west asthetic. I'm not sure why people hate on the weather, I've never been but I'd certainly prefer the weather over rainy cold European weather.
In my mind it's a really cool unique place, it's sad to see many Americans shitting on it, even though it seems to be one of the few places where America is still America, as an outsider would see it.
I still hope I manage to visit it one time.
