I'm planning a 2 week snowboard trip to the Dolomites. I'm going to rent a car so we can drive around and see a lot of towns and villages. Anyone ever done it? I'm planning on hitting Urtijëi, Cortina, Alta Badia, Bolzano and Trento.

I havent been skiing in Italy, but Bolzano is a great place to hang out for a while, super german vibes, comfy and clean. Trento is also nice, surrounded by some great hikeable paths. You're close to the Garda Lake from Trento, it's definitely worth a trip. Riva del Garda and Torbole were super nice, though I was there closer to the summer. They might be a bit deader in the winter. Lots of germans and swiss go sailing in the lake in the summer.
