Places like Poland are rapidly developing. Many of them are leaving UK and other countries they've emigrated to when the times were hard and going back. They're catching up to European standards and will soon overtake some countries like UK which have been economically stagnant for a very long time. The fact is that even though USA makes more than every European country not make Europeans want to live there. I've been to both places and know Poland well. Overall USA is still a better place to live and offers much more economic mobility.
Poland is ok if you are fine with never getting to any kind of wealth, value "muh homogenous white country", like cold weather and cold people.

What's the point of "wealth" though? Having money just to have money is kind of pointless. Sure, having 500k dollars in a bank account is nice, but that's not even enough to buy a rundown shack in the US these days. When I was in Poland and Germany I found the local women to be cold and standoffish.
