I am going to be in Nice with some uni friends for spring break. What is worth doing/seeing?
>>2870744Is this just some massive meme at this point?wtf is with all these retards going places without having any clue of why they wanna go? Why are they all incapable of using Google?
>>2870748i've met many people that does no research until they've actually landed in the placeused to be in a solo traveler group in thailand and daily there were "just landed in bangkok, where is the best place to stay and what is there to do"
>>2870744The old port. There is a hill on the English promenade, you can get on top. You should walk the whole English promenade once, as there are some mini markets, demonstrators, and fit girls running on it. Old port and old city center are okay. There are mountains on the hinterland, why nice village, maybe you can do that if you are motivated. Some old churches also on the city center.
>>2873529When I go again in the autumn, I want to take the train out to Haute-Thorame and visit Peyresq again. Unsure if there's anything to eat up there, but it's so beautiful up in the Mercantour mountains.
>>2873926Don't miss the mix of golden larch trees and first snows in Mercantour. It usually happens in late October/early November and the colours are stunning, especially if you're lucky enough to have a bright blue sky.
>>2870744old thread and spring break is over but you can take the ter and visit places such as antibes, cannes, st tropezalso nice is a real city like paris and not just a tourist resort
Nice is pretty shit.Along the train, there's some nice beaches, just jump on and go along the coast toward Italy and get off at a spot that looks alright.Menton is bad for swimming but the town itself is really nice to just walk around in.Ultimately it's pretty fuckin boring, the food isn't as good as Italy, it's not as relaxing as Greece, and it feels really empty even in the middle of summer.
