European here. Is it worth travelling to sleepy New England towns during fall, just for local culture and vibes?

>>2873417It'll be fairly expensive, but I doubt it'd be too much different than European cost of living. It just won't be the cheap travel you could get to other parts of the world. That being said, New England is beautiful and as far as America goes has the most history and tradition. If you're into the vibes that you're describing then I'd say it's worth seeing. Maybe go to a Patriot's game too. They're good again, and American football is a big part of American culture. Even if you don't know the rules it's still a good time

>>2873424It's only crowded when compared to heartland America. Traffic is slow, narrow through roads pass through town centers with 25 mph speed zones, numerous pedestrian crossings, etc. The population density and road layout is more akin to Europe.
>>2873417Go to Martha's Vineyard and drive around for the true vibe. Or drive from Boston to Montreal and stop in towns like Stowe, VT on the way. Generally north of Boston you will find the sleepy towns. Avoid Burlington, VT.
