Taiwan is like the best parts of China, Japan, SE Asia had a baby and he grew up to be his own man and add his own flair. Such friendly people, almost no tourism compared to SE Asia or Japan or China or Korea. It's like China with hospitality, Japan with some grime. I love it. I think it's the best place in Asia all things considered. Also, the religiosity is interesting.
