I just found out I got perma banned from a car rental agency in the US. An employee had an issue with me a few years back and must have reported me, since I’ve never had any outstanding balances or anything like that and always paid the bill immediately. I didn’t even know you could be blacklisted from a car rental company unless you didn’t pay your bill or totaled a car or whatever, kek. Pretty absurd. Is there a way you can get off the do not rent list or are you pretty much screwed? I tried calling their customer service number but it just rings and goes to voicemail.
>>2873929My best guess is that it was a clerical error (very common), or you happen to have the same name as a problematic customer (less common, but not unheard of). If they really had a problem with you, they should've contacted you.
>>2873929there are quite a few agencies aren't there? or are you banned from all of them
>>2873929>An employee had an issue with me a few years back and must have reported megonna need the details on this story op
>>2873960She called it rape but I just tried to give her a back rub
>>2873964HATE IT when they overreact like that
Do Not Rent lists are serious business, last a lifetime, and is chain wide (global). The only way to resolve it is to grovel, beg, and ultimately pay restitution to the chain in question. You’re being put in your place, and rightfully so./frequent renter road warrior (50+ rents a year)
