Please visit Cleveland, Ohio
>>2876491I really cannot think of a single reason to want to go "to" Cleveland. It's one of those places that people are happy about leaving at some point in their lives. Pretty much the majority of Ohio falls into the slowly dying, run down retirement home of no opportunities outside of working at a local Walmart that people will brag about the day they left.
>>2876493cincinnati actually struck me as lively, yes there's ghetto diversity, but otherwise seemed aliveI plan to visit to see more, actually quite soonalso hocking hills is a gem and there's some interesting hikes near the ohio river where you can get views of it from above also, there's a glassware industry in ohio and you can buy art glass at fairly reasonable pricesI also thoroughly enjoyed the Zanesville museum of art
FUN TIMES IN CLEVELAND AGAIN
>>2876536Cincinnati is kino amd slept on. Probably the only livable city in Ohio. There are tons of White sleepy farm towns as well, but I doubt most young people would want to live there
>>2876491Name 5 worthwhile tourist attractions
>>28765521. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame2. Cleveland Indians Ballpark3. Cleveland Browns Stadium4. Cleveland Museum of Art5. West Side Markett. A guy who has never been and probably never will go
to Ohio
.
>>2876549The Reds stadium is a nice baseball stadium. Perfect North is a cute little ski resort. But the crime in the city in Cincinnati is pretty bad.
>>2876491Cleveland is a total shithole. Please leave Cleveland.
>>2876552>>2876556It's a dump but the downtown is pretty nice for midwest standards (as long as you gtfo before sunset). if you're driving by it's at least worth a stop, check out the arcade if you're there
>>2876567Cincinnati reminds me of Pittsburgh, but with more crime and nogs. The Air Force Museum in Dayton is worth a visit if passing through Cinci. It's massive and way better than the National Air and Space museum in DC
>>2876556>2. Cleveland Indians Ballpark>3. Cleveland Browns StadiumNigga every big city has a stadium. It's a fucking stadium, they're all the same. What a shit recommendation
>>2876546Fucking BASEDhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysmLA5TqbIYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZzgAjjuqZM
>>2876726I fucking loved that place. Was there almost a year ago
>>2876726>reminds me of Pittsburghcity in a red state vs city in a purple state, more austerity in governance -> more impoverishment -> more crime. You do know how this works, don't you?
>>2876995but anon cleveland reminds me of what detroit would be if it weren't so neglectedapparently detroit has gotten a bit better in the last 10 years, but still
Lake Erie is the worst of the Great Lakes. Even Lake Huron is better. Ontario, Michigan and Superior mog.
>>2877082I don't really care about boats or being in the water. Which lake has the best scenic bluffs to hike?
>>2876556>1. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame >2. Cleveland Indians Ballpark >3. Cleveland Browns StadiumHow fucking boring and pedestrian. A bunch of low IQ alcoholics getting excited about watching a ball being thrown around.
>>2877094Lake Superior is incredibly scenic with some massive bluffs, and I haven’t even been to the Canadian side.
>>2876491Cleveland turned into the definitive shithole midwestern city because it used to be a top 5 city in the US. There were Rockefeller mansions, a "millionaire's row" and you can still see the influence all over Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights. There are some crazy neighborhoods on West Park in Shaker, a great place to go for a walk or bike ride. There is a Frank Lloyd Wright house you can actually stay at which is something really cool but hardly anyone does. Cleveland has a lot of Central and Eastern European influence, plenty of people speak Polish or Russian at home, even 3rd-4th generation families. Little Italy actually feels European when people are out for patio season or a feast day. There is lots of cultural influence here, but it's mostly White people so it's not really celebrated. The worst areas of East Cleveland are probably on par with Chicago South Side but Cleveland is notable in that the "no-go" zones are pretty much impossible to reach unless you intend to go there. There aren't highway exits for it at all. Libs will say that this redlining effect created systemic racism but I think it's one of the reasons why Cleveland was able to have containment zones unlike its peer Detroit. The average Clevelander is pretty left as a result, blaming the billionaire class stealing from the working class.
>>2876552Cleveland Arcade (free to walk through), reminded me of Galeries St Hubert in BrusselsPlayhouse Square - the largest performing arts center outside of NYC. Nice and always something going onEdgewater Park / Battery Park has the potential to be beautiful in the summer when it's not absolutely taken over by the usual suspects (picrel). It's fine in Spring or Fall but good luck going in July. The Cleveland Art Museum is really good and free. You can also see the real taxidermied Balto at the Natural History Museum. Cuyahoga Valley National Park, there's a great bike trail from downtown that takes you straight into it. Worth seeing probably the most obscure national park. Skip West Side Market, sports stadiums, zoo, etc. Rock Hall is good but not amazing so I wouldn't suggest unless you are a big fan.
>>2876995That isn't remotely how it works and no one asked for your reddit political opinions (Baltimore, Detroit, Newark, Chicago, all disprove your shitty thesis anyways)
>>2879287>There aren't highway exits for it at all.Kinsman.
