20-something decent looking nerdy American guy on a dry spell who'll be in NYC for a couple months this summer for work. Any recommendations for places to eat/drink/see and be seen?
Is the gender ratio really as fucked for girls/easy for guys as they say?

I might get a long-term posting in the city from this stint, so really want to see if it's all cracked up how it's supposed to be.
