But Africa is expensive. I almost did a road trip through Ghana, Togo, and Benin but I realized it costs so much.

Why is SE Asia so cheap but more developed but Africa is so expensive. Even if you aren't staying at ritzyland resort or whatever it's like 1st world prices if you don't want to live in a slum. I'm going to have to build income before I do my first Africa road trip.

This is a life long goal so hopefully with life extension technology it's possible. Am I going to make it? Probably won't be able to travel much internationally the next 2-3 years :(

I've only been to 34 UN countries + Taiwan + England, scotland, wales + Bermuda + Puerto Rico + Vatican

With life extension technology I could have the body and mind of a 25 year old when I'm 80 and have more money to spend on travel

I also want to visit every state which I'm thinking I won't need life extension technology for.

And yes, Michiganlanders, I visited the UP too

Also, I don't include back tracking on the same trip a second visit. For instance, if I drove all over Mississippi after Lousiana then came back into Louisiana that's still one visit

Whoops Minnesota should be multiple visits... oh well

I am drunk a bit right now I made a mistake... I apologize deeply

It's my biggest dream too, Oceanian countries seem like a pain in the ass though

Yeah when I was in Singapore I considered doing island hopping but it was expensive and I had just spent 3 months in SE Asia and was at the end of my budget. Now I'm not sure when I'll get back. I feel like Singapore or some Aussie airport are the cheapest starting point. I guess Hawaii has some interesting connections.

But yeah they are a hassle. I wish I knew how to sail lol that could be cool

One of my life goals as well. Some of those lawless African countries are going to be a pain though.

Stability is like water, what's dangerous today can be safe tomorrow. Sudan was dangerous, then somewhat stable, now dangerous again. Just wait... be patient... it will come...
