I sometimes put his videos on as background noise or to have something to watch while I eat. It's very vanilla content in the sense that he only stays in expensive name brand hotels, rarely goes out at night, and doesn't really go off the beaten path often. At the same time, it's sort of authentic/comfy in the sense that he does almost no research about the places he visits, doesn't edit out the parts when he's lost or confused, and goes the entire video constantly talking without pause as if he's vocalizing his entire internal monologue and thought process. Another thing of note is that a SEA girl still somehow fell into his lap which is further proof that JBW theory is still alive and well in 2026.
