Why are millennials killing Canadian tourism?
>>
Because Canada (the state) is killing the livelihoods of young cucknadians with replacement migration and (reverse) racial discrimination

Canada wasn't that appealing to begin with.
Now everyone hears it's full of jeets, has a creepy government trying to get its own citizens to euthenize themselves, and had nightmare tier lockdowns during COVID. Oh, and all the trucker protest stuff -- the government turning off people's bank accounts for protesting doesn't sit well with normal people from first world western countries, regardless of their politics.

Doesn't get talked about a lot, because people don't think about Canada a lot.
But Canada's image to the average American is no longer our friendly northern neighbor.
Instead, it's that creepy North Korea-like country to the north where whites are being genocided by a thousand cuts.

They aren’t, this anon >>2879681 is 100% on the money.
Years ago I applied for a working holiday visa as a Spaniard with a degree in tourism and hospitality. I even had a sponsor and everything.
Not only did my visa get rejected on a technicality (I don’t have an address in Spain but can prove I have citizenship and everything) but they made me pay a hefty amount of CAD just for the attempt and took my biometric data.
Now I’m in a Canadian database for the next ten years.
So no, millennials aren’t the problem, it’s the fault of the government that would rather import infinity jeets instead of accredited professionals like myself.
Ngl, I relish in learning that their tourism sector is suffering right now, serves them right.

I've been saying this forever. Canadians are not friendly. The people here are hostile, snotty and arrogant. Canadians are fucking worse than the government. I'm at my final year in uni now, thinking of doing more work terms but I'll probably cut it short at 3 because I hate Canada so fucking much. People here won't even treat you like a human unless you're related to them. It's some shitty gay north korea filled with crabs in a buckets losers that will go out of their way to fuck you over with 2 million dollar houses, no jobs and junkies everywhere.

Canada only wants low skill slave labour. That's all it is. Why would they want someone who will contribute to society and demand a living wage? They want infinity low IQ browns that will work at Tim Hortons and live 50 to a room.

I live on the border in the US, no American cares about Canadians. Whenever Canadians come here to visit/buy groceries/shoot guns/fill up their trucks they immediately have to bring up Trump and immediately defend themselves for being in the US like they've been caught.
>>
>>2879538
What is there to do in Canada that cannot be done in the US already? Most Americans consider Canada to just be colder Montana.
>>
>>2879698
Who the fuck cares about this shit? This is about tourism, not living.

Sir may I please have the canada vagene

From what I have noticed, most Canadians seem to have this need to want to prove their worth to any American, like they instantly assume any American they meet is looking down on then and they are punching back against the assumptions they made up in their heads.
So they often come off as weirdly arrogant and angry since they have that small man attitude, but it's entirely on themselves. Most Americans never consider them or even think about them. They assume Americans are looking down on them and judging them at all times.

But overall they view themselves as small town nobodies and assume any American they cross paths is some arrogant asshole big shot rich guy that is going to treat them like shit. So they instinctively act like an asshole to the American first.

I receive calls from canadians working in IT and they are not aware I'm american. Nah, canadians are just rude cunts all the time. When I get calls from canada it's either a fob pajeet or an absolute cunt.

Tourism in Canada has historically been nature based. No one goes there to go see cities and sights. They go there to camp, hunt, and fish.

What this really means is that there are few nature people who want to go to the Canadian wilderness to hunt and fish. Or it has become harder to do that. I imagine border lockdowns of the past couple decades make it a lot harder to cross with a trunk full of guns and ammo and it's too damn annoying dealing with border guards so they just as well go to Wyoming instead.

Historically tourists went to Canada for the nature and outdoors. The whole Sportsman Paradise aspect of the country is what attracted people.
But in the last 10 or so years, since about 2015, it has been getting more and more trashy. It's not great to go to some big forest in Ontario or British Columbia is there is scattered garbage everywhere. It was noticed around 2019 by a lot of people and it has been getting significantly worse since about 2022 or so. Now a lot of people I know generally don't want to go to any Canadian lakes at all since the region around it is guaranteed to be covered in dumped garbage everywhere. Places are just fucking disgusting now, especially in the Ottawa region. A place that was known for scenic camp sites.

I don't know what in the fuck happened but it seems Canada near completely dropped any element of a no dumping law, nor is there any will to enforce one.
