Yes, you can judge a civilization by the state of its toilets.Come here to share your Thailand travel insights.
Is Thailand dystopian? Yes. But only for a portion of its people. You shouldn't be alone in the city unless you can dissociate from yourself and become a walking ghost.

>>2887946>A whore definitely only does this with me for money Sure thing bucko

The angry weedposter in the last thread >>2887897 was paying a tourist markup. He thinks the good weed starts at 200 baht per gram (freaking Colorado prices) and the cheap weed is 50. Nope, the sticky icky indoor grown starts at 100 for a g and the cheap outdoor stuff is 3 grams for 100 at the places where the locals buy their smoke, on the back side of the huge night market complex. The uncle who sold me the weed was baked as a cake, very friendly and kept laughing because of how high he was.One thing I noticed here in Lat Krabang; the street vendors are all gone. No more blocking public sidewalks to set up food stalls. Sidewalks have also been tremendously improved. Only the vendors who operate from private property are still present. Girls here in Lat Krabang are so pale, it's remarkable when compared to South Asia. Walking around in the evening you see a LOT of single childless foids with very slender figures (and a few fatties as well). >eSIM compatible phoneOnly if you're a phone addict who can't bear the thought of going a few days without scrooolling in public. And, you don't get a local phone number with one of those roaming data plans if I've read correctly.
I've been having some medical problems and am thinking about flying to Bangkok to hit up Bumrungrad Hospital.Has anyone done CT or PET scans at Bumrungrad? How safe is the blood supply in Thailand if I need surgery?Have there been any reports of disease transmission due to improperly cleaned surgical instruments?
Didn't this general used to be one of the most active?
>>2888002>Only if you're a phone addict who can't bear the thought of going a few days without scrooolling in publicYou know an eSIM is fuctionaly the same as a sim card right? It just means you don't have to go through the hassle of finding a store to buy it at. Even the budget phones have them these days just not the chinesiums.>And, you don't get a local phone number with one of those roaming data plans if I've read correctly.Nomad literally gives you a local number for like 20 bucks unlimited, there are other esim providers out there that do it for cheaper if you only need it for a day.>>2888080Brokefag posting + new visa rules is slowing it
>>2888085>Nomad literally gives you a local number for like 20 bucks unlimited,Extortion
>>2888093>unlimited 5G data and voice/SMS for 20 bucks is extortionokay anon sure sounds great
>first time bkk today evening>walk around, not nana plaza>no freelancer wanting me>just old massage oba-sansWere I too early? I saw a hot 20year old going with two early twenty year old europeans. Do I need to take them to my hotel? Should I worry about my stuff. Thai friendly is ok, but I am scared of them coming to my room lol.
In the first 29 hours in Thailand, I've spent 605 baht on "cheap" food. That's almost $20 USD. And all I have to show for it is a bag of rambutans. Total spending in that same time period has added up to 2400 baht or $73. This figure is somewhat higher than I expected, but I'm fine with that. This trip will prioritize comfort and enjoyment over frugality.ATM max withdrawal limit has been raised to 30,000 baht at KBank ATMs. The fee has also gone up from 220 to 250 baht. That's about $8 USD.
>>2888106Why did you go there? To bang fat hookers like the Laos bitch? Seems overpriced af
>>2888112You get what you pay for. That's the truth of the matter. There are cheaper options, including a 290 baht room with awful reviews nearby. But I prefer the 600 baht price tier for its amenities. And one day of rest is enough; time to move out and see the country. Hua Takhe train station is 1 km from here. Many trains a day pass through it on the way to Pattaya, Chuk Samet, Chachoengsao, Prachinburi, Kabinburi, Sa Kaeo, Aranyaprathet and the Cambodian border at Ban Klong Luk. This time I also want to detour down to Chanthaburi and Trat. So far people have been very pleasant to be around. Most tourists hop on board the airport rail, which stops 2 km distant from this area, making it unsuitable for access by metro. But the overhead metro line coincides with the ground-level Eastern Railway line through much of Bangkok. Difference is, you can go to Lat Krabang for 8 rupees on the Eastern Railway, while it will cost you 40 on the airport rail.
>>2888118No one cares about your blog posts Jeet
>>2888118>You get what you pay for. That's the truth of the matter. You could have gone to a less hyped up normie infested country. Did you really get baited by "dude, weed!!"
>>2888132Indians have poor reading comprehension and prefer to watch a talking head speaking in a videoGonna bet you are the same>>2888144>soulless suburban sprawl :|>soulless suburban sprawl, Thailand :OMost Thais are NPCs who behave according to their programmed routine. After six plus months of dealing with the assorted characters of South Asia, it feels strangely comforting to be around well-programmed humanoids again.Chachoengsao like most provinces near Bangkok is kind of ugly and dumpy and ridden with traffic. But I still intend to go there later today. Lots of nice restaurants around town, I recall from my last daytrip there. Hotels are scarce, but still available.
>>2888201>Most Thais are NPCs who behave according to their programmed routine. After six plus months of dealing with the assorted characters of South Asia, it feels strangely comforting to be around well-programmed humanoids again. The India into China combo works well. There's a lot of uncharted territory explore and it's way cheaper than Thailand. Thaijeets are part jeet imo
What's the cheapest route to get from Thailand to Poland? I can't find a direct flight any more.
>>2888213I flew Kuala Lumpur to Warsaw via Sharjah for $350 in June 2025, that was with checked bag and awful meal paid for. >>2888204The way countries compare varies tremendously across different price tiers. They'd charge $30+ for a fifth floor room of this quality with 24 hour receptionist on duty right outside Mumbai or Delhi airport. In the Philippines it cost $22 USD to stay in a relatively nice room in a slum neighborhood near the airport (no blankets provided only sheets, lol gud). Here I pay 600 baht, $18 USD.And IDK how protein muscle roid anon says that Thailand is protein scarce. Everywhere you look there are big chunks of prepared meat being sold in the flea markets. I bought a gigantic crispy deep-fried red meat fish steak for 50 baht. It went down great with a bottle of beer. The 75 baht ($2.50) beef cheeseburger was made with a 3 oz ball of handmade beef patty. Then one of those squash with egg custard filling. Firsties don't realize that being able to pick what you want to eat is a developed country luxury. In the poor parts of the world, restaurants serve one dish to everybody at the designated serving time, as rural cooking is an elaborate, time-consuming procedure. It is served until it runs out, payment is collected, then the owners lounge around and refuse to cook anything else.
>>2888218He said protein powder you illiterate third world brown Which it is very expensive in SEA>Just eat this filthy fish that was caught in the filthy polluted river goy
>>2888218India and China are about half the price of Thailand. You got ripped off going to some foreigner compound in India>>2888221Idk about Thailand but in India the protein powder ordered from Amazon was very cheap and 1/4th the price of the powder in storesHe probably doesnt know how to use Amazon or Shoppee or whatever
>>2888227Yes, because it's literally illegal for the local hotels in India to take a foreigner unless their business is registered on the central government's online foreigner registration portal for filling out of electronic C Form.I got a room at the JU Apartments and they JU'd me on the rate for the usual 10 baht or 10% foreigner surcharge. Others had paid 500 for their room, but I was charged 550. But despite paying the tip, they did not show me to the room.>oh 550 baht is the walk-in rate sir, the others paying 500 baht were reservationsAgoda price was something like 565.
Shy squirrel in the Lat Krabang parkThe mild overcast weather of June in Bangkok is quite pleasant, akin to the American Gulf Coast; after any serious exertion you need to change your clothes, but sitting in the shade for a few minutes makes me stop sweating, because the Gulf breeze blows refreshment across the landscape under scudding clouds.>>2888221That fish is good protein. IDK the name of it. It's a big fucker chopped into 6" long steaks with huge chunks of slimy fish meat under an umami-laden crispy/slimy breading layer. If swamps gross you out, don't come to Bangkok. The spices in the wastewater are what gives Bangkok seafood its irresistibly delicious taste. Endless recycling of spices through the aquatic ecosystem. As long as industry is not allowed to destroy waterways for profit, their ability to process human waste will ensure that delicious seafood remains bountiful and cheap. If you enjoy the seafood, you'll also come to love that thick sulfurous odor of marsh life at low tide in a food-rich environment. Today I paid 70 baht for my shrimp and mixed veg stir-fry plate before getting on the train. It had about ten tremendously delicious shrimp on it, each of them a nice chunk of meat. In India I would pay 450 rupees for a shrimp thali and it would have only six or seven small seabugs. That's if shrimp was even available. Indians have destroyed their entire fisheries, so seafood has become scarce and premium-priced in the country. No pork, no beef, no fish. All you have is endless chicken and goat alternated with paneer for protein choices.>>2888221>uses the word goy>advocates literal goyfeed in place of natural foodsVery disingenuous of you.Why would you need protein powder when you can get a double beef and cheese hamburger for 120 baht at the Suvarnabhumi Market? This contains about 5 oz of prime red meat that is smashed on the grill before a cup is placed over it. You can grab a beer from a nearby vendor for no extra markup.
Leaving the airport dropoff area to take a ride east along the railway. Hardly the urban walk I was expecting. Hua Takhe railway station was such a clean and serene place. Impossible to imagine in a country like India. There would always be some loud people yelling, a general hubbub of excited conversations, vendors and blockages everywhere, and mad dashes of departing passengers to crowd against the entrances as soon as the train pulled into the station.>>2888227Similar quality hotels are cheaper in Thailand than in India. Both of these rooms would be charged at 1800-2200 rupees in India. But here I'm paying less than 600 baht. So no, India is not cheaper in an apples for apples measure. Many Indian richfags have already pointed this out by comparing five-star resort prices in India to their equivalents in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and even Philippines. SEA is always much cheaper. Here I walked past a sign advertising motel-style rooms for 250 baht fan, 400 baht A/C. A parking space was provided outside your door. The buildings are cheaply built of concrete and have small windows. They become ovens when the sun shines. I bet that 250 baht fan room is spartan, with a hard bed, a small table and a plastic chair, but still much bigger and cleaner and better than the rooms Indians get for 800 rupees. Most Indian budget hotels have never, ever scrubbed any of the fixtures in the room. They are caked with years of filth.
>>2888236>>2888240Landing and walking from the airport in delhi I paid about 1200 rupees for a hotel. Had a/c, geyser. It was serviceable. Next four days I stayed in a hostel for like 400 rupees a night. After that I rented a flat. Never had issues with the hotels in India>>2888238>Indians have destroyed their entire fisheries, so seafood has become scarce and premium-priced in the country. No pork, no beef, no fish. All you have is endless chicken and goat alternated with paneer for protein choices.I used to buy fish everyday from the local wet market. It was like 80 rupees for half kg. They had nematodes in them sometimes so you had to be careful though. Could also get pork and "beef" (really it's buffalo) if you go to the NE Indian neighborhoods
Some parts of Chachoengsao are very modern, while others are antiquated. An afternoon of walking around and eating/buying food and beer along the way cost me 420 baht. Humidity rose upwards of 90%, and the sky got dark gray with clouds, but it never rained or got hot today. The greenery, the blossoming flowers, and the clear pollution-free air is so lovely.
The riverside walk near Paet Riu villageYes, food prices add up quickly here if you have any sort of appetite for Thai foods. And I'm not even buying the expensive stuff. Today I walked into a bakery and they were charging 95 baht for a single medium-sized blueberry muffin. Coffees start at 45 baht and go up to 140. See how quickly your "light" coffee and pastry breakfast turns into a $5+ visit. The last hotel I stayed in offered a guest breakfast for 179 baht.
This is the park I sat and looked at from the front porch of a local shop selling cold Leo for 62 baht. Driving in Thailand is disciplined on par with driving in America. Evidently, accountability for causing an accident is now very strict.
Holy shit how fucking difficult is it to fuck. I am like fucking paralyzed man. There was this cutie, which I could take with me. She grabbed me by my arm and I said later. I knew I was a virgin, but not that much of one. It‘s not fucking difficult, I could call someone from tf with ease, but here I am beeing scared. Just go to a fucking massage and have fun, but no. What if my parents calls me (we have a very good relationship) or even my sister. Like what the fuck man. They won‘t. Fuck man what‘s this. Am I destined to die as a virgin?
