I have a Star Wars question. I just recently learned that Rey’s father is a genetic composite of Palpatine and the Skywalkers (with Luke’s severed hand providing the Skywalker DNA). If That’s the case then Luke is her biological grandfather and she should have every right to call herself Skywalker, so why are people so pissed about it? He describes it as evil but doesn’t offer up any explanation as to what evil is.
When Lucas talks about the dark side he obviously doesn’t see it as intrinsically evil (as Filoni does), just something which has the capacity to produce great evil.
