>>
>“Connie” will tell the story from the female perspective, Don Vito’s only daughter.
lmao
>>
i'm not a hater, but godfather 3 was bad. maybe if they go GOD IV THER
>>
It's going to be based on the recent fanfic novel about Michael Corleone's sister.
>>
Somehow, the Godfather™ has returned.
>>
>>220663240
They made some new directors cut and it was just as bad as the original
>>
>>220662969
Mafia Movies didn't age well

>>
>>220662969
They'll make Michael suck a dick and eat shit
>>
>I said that I would see you because I had heard that you were a serious man, to be treated with respect. But I must say no to you and let me give you my reasons. It's true I have a lot of friends in politics, but they wouldn't be so friendly if they knew my business was racist, homophobic, or anti-trans, instead of misandrist or anti-white, which they consider a harmless vice.

And there goes any interest I might have had

copyright laws are part of the problem, they last way too long

We need a Godfather prequel trilogy so we can see how young godfather met Jarjar Binks.
>>
Source tells me Godfather IV is in pre-production. Please god

Andy Garcia is the right age to be an old post-9/11, post-COVID Don
>>
>>220663233
>lets some random mook beat her up and then gets mad when her family doesn't let him get away with it and says she loves him
that really is accurate to the female experience actually

It hurts, it could have been the biggest of the trilogy

This has to be bullshit.

Andy was kino af as Vincent

I recall watcing the original Godfather more than once at my dudeweed buddies houses (scarface, too). Everyone always seemed to know "Al Neri" by name, but I never once heard it said in any way in the film. Cop-disguise don execution was well shot (no pun) but is Neri known for anything else? Greatest film my ass, do they even intro the character?

he's well introduced in the novel as as michael's version of luca
for whatever reason that characterization is completely dropped in the film. it does serve to give the film a tighter third act, but they could surely have fit it in somewhere. just a line or two about neri being an ex-cop who got put out for actually doing his job
>>
>>220666473
Hey Joe! (Bang bang) Zasa!
>>
>>220663469
Agreed. Too many of them over the years. Worshiped by boomers but RICO was enacted in 1970! and the mafia was on borrowed time the moment that happened.
>>
>>220665278
I mean it's understandable, it happened on the day of their child's christening and she was an unstable person who was now made into a single mother because her brother was on a killstreak.
>>
>>220665278
>>220667890
Also he was killed for setting up Sonny, not for the abuse. I doubt Michael would really have cared as long as it wasn't too severe.
>>
Italian americans are irrelevant in 2026, their only actors and directors are all 80+ years old lmao

Part I is iconic, there isn’t a single weak scene in the film. It’s classic old-school cinema at its finest. Rich with atmosphere, emotionally charged, and carried by a remarkably smooth cinematic flow. While somewhat romanticized and stylized it remains immensely enjoyable to watch. It feels refined, immersive, and welcomes the viewer to Italian family drama (which I tremendously enjoyed). Part II, on the other hand, moves at a much faster pace. If the trilogy were an opera, part II would be performed at an accelerated tempo. The narrative rarely pauses to let the audience fully absorb or reflect on what is unfolding. It can feel dense and relentless, which may make repeated viewings more exhausting than rewarding. Part III has only a handful of truly memorable momentsone standout scene is when Michael becomes emotional while remembering Apollonia after hearing his son sing a Sicilian song. Overall, I would strongly recommend watching Part I and II, while Part III feels entirely optional.

It’s just a new book. The film part is inaccurate. And they’ve made new Godfather books for years, including killing off Tom Hagen by throwing him in a car and sinking it in a swamp

God, i'm so fucking tired of this shit. MAKE NEW IPS! STOP MILKING CLASSICS!

Doubt. Look into the production of Godfather 3.
