Shrek 2 has a glaring plot hole near the end. Charming tosses the wand to his mother, and then disappears from the rest of the movie (outside of a very quick gag in the party ending, like 5 minutes after he tosses the wand)

It came out the same year as Shrek 2 and didn't make as much money domestically or internationally. Regardless, it is 10 times better than Shrek 2. I'm glad it won the academy award for Best Animated Feature (plus got nominated for awards that Shrek 2 wasn't, like Best Original Screenplay)
