But there's like no attachment to the characters though when its that expansive and its all factoids waiting for a story to stitch them together. Bar Astartes or whatever his name is, I cant give 2 shits about anyone or the god Emperor, even though I want to. I tried assessing an order to read things in to develop care, but never figured out anything that worked. Its like dropping in at s5 of GoT but everyone is cool and magical and awesome but there's too many people and factions to care
