even knowing virtually every reference, it was still too disjointed and harried to really call it better than the first movie. they claimed "mario and luigi will be together this time!" but i'm almost certain they have the same amount of screetime together as the first one if you don't count the part with them being doofy babies

I haven’t seen it beyond some leaks, I feel like they are rushing way too fast to get to an eventual smash brothers movie, they didn’t need fox to travel the universe in the game so idk why they felt the need to add fox. Considering he is in the film I like his voice and his interactions with Mario.the music could have been better also the purple dragon was kinda weird idk if that’s a final boss in one of the games or sum?
Fight choreography could have been cooler but I’m sure it’ll get better in time for the smash bros movie
