Matthew McConaughey's character was a bit shit but im guessing they just cast him to help get it funded having a big name attached. It was probably his best since Snatch imo. I'll also say The Covenant (2023) was a decent war flick although that was a straight to Netflix deal iirc

People talk about the flop this film is.Somehow it was dumped only in the USA, with no international release plan.It had almost no promotion. The official instagram account has 12,4k followers.The only person actively promoting the movie is Eiza Gonzalez.Jake and Henry shot a couple videos but otherwise don't communicate much on the movie.Doesn't help when all the latest Ritchie projects where Tv shows for streaming or movies directly dumped on Prime, Netflix or even Apple.I guess he's not a big enough name nowadays to bring people in theater seats by his name alone. Even with the title actors helping.
