why don't you watch old movies?
>>
>>220727599
Define old. Black and white? Not interested. Anything after that. No problem.
>>
>>220727599
I do. Yesterday I watched a movie from 2013 AD.
>>
>>220727599
I watch plenty of movies from the 2010s
>>
I just watched Creature From The Black Lagoon (1954). Some great underwater scenes. Dragged on in the second half perhaps.
>>
>>220727599
I do, I love old movies
>>
>>220727715
Black Lagoon is the only one of the Universal Horror films that actually has tension and suspense. I seem to remember they use divers having to avoid the bends as a tension building plot device.

>boomers considered that a big ass

I hate the accents
>>
>>220727779
That's the best part. Hearing Jimmy Stewart drop a "gee wiz" or "hot dog!" is music to my ears.
>>
which old movies have fat asses and titties in?

It's a fine ass, and great thighs. Big asses are too fat.

yeah that's true

>>
I do, I have to force myself to watch new ones
>>
I do. I watched Tron yesterday.
>>
>>220727599
why would i want to watch some guy that is probably dead by now grope a bitch that is probably dead by now
>>
>>220727599
I refuse to watch anything released after 1999.
>>220727809
That's not accents. Those are phrases/sayings.
>>
>>220727599
I do, but only whatever is on the classics channel.
>>
>>220729414
>That's not accents. Those are phrases/sayings.
It's his accent that makes him saying those old timey phrases so much fun.
>>
>>220729319
>is probably dead by now
i never understood why normalfags bring this up every time as criticism
>>
>>220727599
I watched The Four Feathers (1939) today. Apparently Hitler loved that movie.
>>
>>220730379
>All those people are DEAD. Don't care about it.
You're arguing with Fox News-addict boomer-tier logic. My nearly 80-year-old father says this shit all the time.
>>
>>220727599
because they don't even have any cgi and the special effects are garbage, and they just stand around talking most of the time

I do. Every single time some dimwit says that new movies suck, it turns me a little more against old shit, though.
>>
>>220730638
And what is your logic? Using an ad-hominem? That a human or animal actor used to be alive back then, and is dead now, that doesn't change the quality of the work. Grow up.
>>
I generally don't watch any movies anymore. I'm just here for the memes and shitposting.
>>
>>220727599
Older movies are more tolerable than today's
>>
>>220727599
I have watched creature from the black lagoon though. It was kino, with the underwater shots and the costume.

The only thing that took me out of it was using the sound of a bird local to me, (a kookaburra), to represent the far off untouched part of the world vibe they were going for.

Overall though I really liked it.
>>
>>220730799
I’m going to keep saying it until you can only watch Zendaya joints then. Fuck you.
>>
>>220731054
Too bad. I like her.
>>
>>220730976
No, I was agreeing with you and commenting on the pointlessness of arguing with such people. My elderly father won't watch old movies, but he loves those Jew wars.
>>
>>220727715
Nice. Check out Revenge. It's underrated. Interesting setup (Creature ends up in not-Sea World) and some cool shots, plus a goofy-ass throw kill obviously on wire.
