Weird I never see anyone talking about Gus van Sant's latest, I guess that can be to some extent explained by its troubled production (Nicholas Cage and Werner Herzog were set to star and direct at a point) and weird release pattern.Anyway, this is a brety gud flick, easy 4/5.
>>220728133The only reason I ever heard of this movie was that it apparently flopped so hard that it tanked its distributor as its first ever release.
>>220728133>It was shot over 19 days; Pacino filmed his part in one day while Domingo shot his in two days. That'll be X million dollars plus tip, thank you! >Cary Elwes>Kelly Lynch Did Mission Impossible revive his career or what? And while Kelly Lynch is much older than I remembered she still looks great for her age.>>220729381The only reason I ever heard of this movie was that I opened this thread.
>>220729381Modern audiences just don't deserve good flicks.
It's yet another anti-capitalism movie. Based on a true story of a guy who held a mortage company employee hostage, when the fact is, no one forces you to sign a mortgage contract, and the idiots that bite off more than they can chew financially actually causes a massive recession in 2008.Fuck Austin Kolodney and Gus Van Sant.
>>220731197>it was not the bankers' fault for handing out mortgages like Skittles, then selling the mortgages into a pyramid scheme of collections hello, can I have a mortgage?ALWAYS YES!imagine simping for billionaires.
>>220730048They spent $10 million to buy and market the film, then it only made $2.5 million at the box-office. Kek.
>>220731572lie elsewhere. I criticized irresponsible idiots, i didn't celebrate bankers. libs HATE personal responsibility.
>>220731197what do you have against the writer lmao
>>220728133More of a Townes Van Zandt guy myself
