You can find a lot of that old stuff online pretty easily though. Whether it's torrents or random streams or youtube playlists, it's pretty much all findable.

i've got a bunch of the good old stuff downloaded for my kid. cartoon network, nickelodeon, hanna barbera. stuff like postman pat and thomas the tank engine before the pozzed cgi eras. you absolutely need to curate what your kids watch, i've seen friends and family raise their kids on ipads scrolling through youtube shorts and youtube kids slop like cocomelon and blippy and shit, it's definitely bad for them. in my personal life i'm seeing a significant correlation between ipad kids/cocomelon slop kids and autism diagnoses. they're not actually autistic they just behave badly because their brains are getting melted by slop from day 1.

I remember this being a really good show. The beavers had a friend who was just an inanimate tree stump but he also kind of had a personality, its hard to explain. Him being in the stories made me laugh.
