Stay golden, Pony Boy.The hottest Diane Lane too.
>>220729947>if they made their adversaries similar working class boys like the greasersit's based on a novel. the drama comes from class conflict. if the socs were working class, they would not despise the greasers for being working class.also, search YouTube for the opening scenes that were cut, which actually introduce the characters and are awesome
>>220731716>Hinton wrote The Outsiders, her first and most popular novel, set in Oklahoma in the 1960s. She began writing it in 1965.[11] The book was inspired by two rival gangs at her school, Will Rogers High School,[12] the Greasers and the Socs,[3] and her desire to empathize with the Greasers by writing from their point of view
>>220729947this movie gave me more confidence in talking with people, I saw how the greasers just moved in on their target and started doing that with everyone, even women
Anyone notice how Johnny Cade was the most intense and game out of any of the kids--and when Dallas was being rapey and rude with the red-head, it was Johnny who got Daĺlas to finally stop with his intense stare like he was willing to bring it to the next level. Poor Johnny was never initiating shit, but always the one who jumps in to bring it to the next level. To belong. To do right by his best friend pony boy.
My literature teacher made me read a book, but I didn't because I don't support the glorification of teenage smoking as I started to read it. So she made me take a test on my favorite book instead, and I chose The Fellowship of the Ring for it./blog
