One of the problems with the US office, entertaining though it certainly was, was how inconsistent Michael Scott was portrayed.He was a total buffon fool for 19 of 20 episodes.Then, to make you feel sorry for him, the writers portray him as hyper competent not realizing this undermines every other aspect of his portrayal.This happens a few time.Total social moron...also the best salesman there.
