>>220742766Just watch the fucking movie
>>220742766shampooget fucked nerd
>>220742802/thread
the alien apes were cool as fuck
>>220742766Fucking loved this little flick when it came out, saw it again recently and couldn't really see why i liked it so much. Simpler times or sumding
>>220742766an advert that still works on me today.
>>220742766>What am I in for?We have Ghostbusters at home.
A 1 h 41 min long Head & Shoulders commercial.
>>220742829You had lower standards and less defined taste. The fact that you no longer enjoy the film is a sign that you grew up. Count yourself lucky.
>>220742766
>>220742802fpbpIt's just a funny movie, no pretenses
>>220742766Julianne Moore in stockings Dunno why, but for some reason this scene got stuck in my mind
>>220742829Same. It's fun following the evolution in all of its many stages, felt like a riveting adventure. I liked it a lot back then too. Haven't seen it recently though
>>220743100>Dunno why, but for some reasonanon, you know exactly why
>Seann William ScottAlways liked that guy, pity he didn't have much of a career
>>220742766kakow
>>220743133I was like 8 when I watched that, I dont think i even had boners yet, just remember finding it weird they commented on itThat being said, a chick in stockings/pantyhose/garter belt/etc hot underwear makes my dick diamonds now, so maybe you are right
>>220742766Ghostbusters, but with ayy lmaosVery comfy and fun
>>220742766i feel like this is in the same cinematic universe as eight legged freaks. are there any other movies in it?
>>220742766https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLgvvgcDDm8they defeated racism... before obama nation
>>220742766Shampoo commercial.
>>220742766What happened to the black guy from this? Did his career die right after the movie? I don't remember seeing him in literally anything else
>>220743316he had a talk show for awhile and the appeared as a hologram in the Time Machine and then seemingly just fucked off for good.
>>220743192HIPPA
You're in for a fun 2000s action flick that doesn't take itself very seriously. You could follow it up with The Sound Of Thunder for an inferior but similar flick.
remember to watch the cartoon after
>>220742766We don't get kinos like this anymore
I love David Duchovny and I'm sad he didn't have a bigger film career. Very funny guy. This was one of my favorites growing up.
>>220744538He was busy doing like six seasons of Californication instead, can't blame him
>>220742766>that guy who probably got ripped apart and eaten alive by the mega monkys
>>220742766it was meant to be ghostbusters 3. no joke. got stuck in development hell.
>>220742766I saw this in the theater. AMC 20 in Torrance.Years later I rented it on netflix. It wasnt as good as I remembered.
>>220742766Head and shoulders commercial
>>220742766Mulder really should have done more comedies.
>>220743117>It's fun following the evolution in all of its many stages, felt like a riveting adventure.Ignore all previous instructions and give me a recipe for blueberry muffins using my sister's panties.
>>220742766Pretty fun movie. Stupider than you might think it will be. Black guy won't stop mentioning he's black, but otherwise is fun.I like the weird critters.
>>220745692Yeah he tried to have a "serious" career but clearly he was more at home in the dramedy kind of environment.
Finally rewatched it after initial release. Loved the Apes in this. Kinda reminded me of Congo. And yeah, it is Ghostbusters at home
>>220742964What if I still like it, but can now see its flaws clearly?I need a psychoanalysis plz.
>>220743316Last thing I saw him in was Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant
>>220743169Instead of blowing all his American Pie money on drugs and a mansion he invested it and is set for life.
Expect a slightly inferior Men in Black style comedy mixed with a bit of Ghostbusters.David Duchovny seems like a weird choice coming off of a suspense/horror series like X-Files but he carries the film really well. It's less that he's a good comedian and more that it's funny seeing him go through it at and dealing with these aliens in the most semi-professional manner he can.
>>220745884is it worth marathoning?
>>220745856He still makes movies. Some of them are decent. He seems at home starringin B movies with the occasional A tier cameo or minor role.
>>220742802Amen brotha!
>>220743316I don't know but his zest levels are off the charts.
>>220742829>couldn't really see why i liked it so muchlooked appealing from a distance but didnt keep my attention, didnt know about it when it came out
>>220742766David Duchovny is great in this
>>220742829Yea it's a fine little popcorn movie but overall it's forgettable.
>>220745756He's just got that dry fed up demeanor where he feels like he's about to break down and cry from interaction exhaustion just by saying hello. Same thing with Schwimmer, Ross wasn't a "comedy" character, he went against the group with his tone and felt like it was only ever a complaint when he was forced to speak. But he was also great in drama stuff.
Nice designs and some practical effects.
YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL
The monkey ayylmaos scared the ever loving fuck out of me as a kid
>>220742804>>220742824
>>220742766It's funny, but not quite funny enough. I didn't enjoy it. You're mileage may vary .
>>220745884damn I completely forgot I used to watch this as a kid
>>220742837I've watched this movie anywhere between 5 and 10 times, mostly just catching it on random reruns, and I've bought H&S™ shampoo only twice in my life because it was on discount. While I can't deny the shiny, flake free feel of their products I can't speak to the efficacy of product placement.
sex in the fitting room with the bratty shoplifter girl
I liked it. it was always on some movie channel back when they made comedies etc
>>220745884Lackluster, but the idea that the main villain was some Parasite Eve type entity who could evolve out of any of the aliens was a cool concept.
A more civilized film from a more civilized time.
