What is the movie you've watched the most?
>>

Plan 9 From Outer Space, of course

The Road To El Dorado. I used to watch it on repeat as a kid.
>>
>>220743109
Might be Shrek 2, or maybe Barbie in the princess and the pauper, certainly not 42 fucking times for either of them though.
I'm sure there's other VHS and DVDs I watched multiple times but those 2 jumped to mind as the ones I have the most clear memories of, I often saw things at least twice for directors commentary (and one time that I got curious about the audio description track on a ninja turtle movie.)
Outside having nothing better to do as a kid I saw ant man 2 in theatres twice, once alone and then once a few months later at a small local community theatre with my sister, also I went to the cinema to see Akira despite having already seen it on the small screen. Totally worth it. It would be cool to do that for LOTR I think, not if it was the extended editions or expected it all in 1 day thoug

Spy Game
Saving Private Ryan
Rambo III
Predator
Aliens
Robocop

One of those probably.

Robot Jox, at the very least 1300 times.
>>
>>220743109
Joe Dirt

White Men Can't Jump. I used to watch it all the time when I was younger.
>>
>>220743109
as an adult, probably drive, in bruges and upgrade, like 5-6 times each
as a kid, like 20 times each, the mortal kombat movies (yes i liked one and two equally) and the power rangers movie.
>>
>>220743109
Probably LOTR, at this point
Or some Disney animation i had on a VHS as a kid that I've rewatched a hundred times

Now that I think about it, its probably this, it was the only Home Alone movie I had on a VHS and I've watched it all the time, even in the middle of the fucking summer
And while it probably objectively isn't and ill fucking hate it if I watch it today, I still maintain that its the best one in the series
>>
>>220743109
Jurassic park
Independence Day
Total recall
Black hawk down
Con air
The rock
>>
As a kid, Land Before Time.
As an adult, Kung Pow

>Robocop
It's so fucking weird, these are my most favorite movies of all time, but I never really watched it on repeat, even though I could. It was always something else and weird, like American Ninja 4, or that movie with Rutger Hauer and exploding collars, or Looney Toons on Summer Vacation, or Running Man.
>>
>>220743353
Chainsaw dick. I love this movie as well.

Pregnant wife getting excited about upgrade to 3 bedroom with next kid

Maybe you'd be surprised, because HA3 is an actual movie with solid production. There are more robbers, but so is more wacky traps.

we didn't have that many films, the ones we did were taped off the telly. I know all the words to jumanji by heart even though I haven't seen it in like 25 years

Ironically, I'd watched HA3 before the first two.
I remember seeing trailers for HA2 that had the statue of Liberty screaming like Kevin and for some reason that always terrified me as a kid.
https://youtu.be/aT4yAjYBaWc?si=Dl1t_tQEbWTUHcCX

I was surprised years later to see people weren't a fan of the 3rd one.
>>
>>220743109
Maybe Home Alone, because it was the first movie i had on vhs. Other than that Forrest Gump, Demolition Man, Back to the Future - some of those probably.

Storming on the Bastille. Symbolism.
>>

Forrest Gump
The Truman Show
Apocalypse Now
In Bruges
>>

haha so true
I usually never watched those on repeat, just ended up watching them whenever they were on tv. Except SPR, I had the VHS and DVD. I did watch it on repeat a few times.
My weird movie that I remember I did watch on repeat a several times was 'Demolition Man' of all things.

Lord of the rings

Predator

LOTR trilogy.
>>
>>220743109
As a kid in the 90s:
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Mask
The Little Rascals
Godzilla (1998)
Spawn (1997)

As an adult, probably some some movies that ran on TV all the time like The Ninth Gate, The Rock, Independence Day and so on.

Lion King probably. Used to watch it many times a day when I was like 3 years old.

Dumb & Dumber or Jurassic Park

Batman & Robin

Weirdly I watch The Hateful Eight every winter, around christmas time. It's insanely comfy seeing them all in the cabin surrounded by snow and eating stew etc.
>>
As a kid I loved aladdin
Then in my teens it was probably the first xmen movie
I remember watching the dark knight so many times back in 2008
Overall it's probably the lord of the rings trilogy, I'll watch that maybe 3 times a year.
>>
Team America easily

Me and my friends were obsessed with it back in school, we'd all quote lines and it's still probably the funniest movie I've ever seen.
>>
>>220743109
As a kid, Pooh's Grand Adventure. Kino of the highest caliber, really layered and thematically rich film.

As a slightly bigger kid, The Rock. Also kino. How do ya like how that shit works?
>>

I don't give a fuck what godzilla autists think, that was a great movie.

Wholesome and I didn't realise until years later that it was quite obviously based on Oliver Twist.

Shaun of The Dead
Still holds up as one of my favourite movies of all time.

>20's and beyond
It's probably something I watch annually, lotr trilogy, jurassic park, even the john wick movies I've started to watch fairly regularly, especially the first one.

I think pic related, as a teen I probably had the damn thing on repeat and even today I could recite most of the lines.
That said, at least once a year for holidays I will see:
Christmas Vacation
Planes Trains and Automobiles
Friday the 13th plus sequels
Halloween and sequels
Die Hard, Die Hard 2 and Lethal Weapon are movies my wife and I watch every Christmas Eve while wrapping presents
>>
>>220745367
>Oliver and Company
I had this one on VHS as a kid, and I still regard it as a weak entry in the Disney canon.

>Shaun of The Dead
This, however, is great. I still quote that bit about waiting for all this to blow over every time people in my life worry about the latest current thing.
>>
>>220743109
I have watched Trainspotting 42 times. Not the whole movie. Just one scene.
>>
>>220745405
It's far better than redditors give it credit for, but I think it's too long and baggy to be endlessly rewatchable.

Lo there do I see my father
Lo there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers

I watch movies as background for my grand strategy campaigns frequently, so as a result I've seen Rome, Gladiator, and Kingdom of Heaven like 15+ times each.
As for actually watching, probably Tombstone and The Death of Stalin.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

As a kid, I liked falling asleep with TV noise in the background
I had the VHS in my VCR and I was too lazy to change it out
So every night when I was going to bed, I'd just hit play and watch Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and fall asleep
I did this every night for about a year and a half, so I've seen the movie like 400+ times
>>
I don't think I ever would have believed this 10 years ago, but sex without a legitimate connection is kind of boring.
>>
My family didn't own a lot of movies when I was young, but we had a handful of titles on VHS that went into heavy rotation. Batman (1989) and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? got played like every weekend when my parents wouldn't drive us kids to the video store. We also had a few movies that we taped off broadcast television. The extended version of Aliens. Deal of the Century for some weird reason. I still have that VHS cassette of Batman.

probably this as i was a cute little sk8r boy when it came out
saw some scenes of it the other day on youtube and it still seemed OK

My favourite Bond movies. Whole series is bloated with more bad than good unfortunately, so I pick out my favourites and have a weekend watching them, every few months.
Goldfinger
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Live and Let Die
A View To Kill
The Living Daylights
Licence To Kill
Goldeneye
Tomorrow Never Dies
Casino Royale

Skyfall has grown on me a lot, so I'll throw that in sometimes too. I've probably watched Goldeneye and Goldfinger over 100 times.

The Matrix. Saw it 3 times when it was in the theater.

Moore's best and last. He actually fires a gun which he avoided doing in practically all of his previous films.
Worth it for the soundtrack and the final fight scene on the bridge alone.

My VHS specifically had a scratch that caused a black bar to go across the screen during the shot of Gennaro on the raft, which I used to pretend was a laser bisecting him and made the same bzeeoom noise every time I watched the film. That's my exciting Jurassic Park viewing story.
>>
>>220743109
Batman Returns
>>
>>220743109
Probably the Thing, or The Void. I like single-location horror movies and I usually put them on in the background to sleep

>an hour of wrinkly Moore wandering around stables
It was so deathly boring it made Octopussy seem like a roller coaster. Not even Walken could save it.

Categorically wrong. He has several far more boring movies. Man with the golden gun for one and that also happens to have an utterly retarded story.

probably Muppet Treasure Island, but only because my kids watched that every day for years.

closest thing I had to porn

You might be autistic but you have impeccable taste. Can you give a ranking of your favorite Godzilla movies? Godzilla vs Destroyah is mine
>>
>>220746315
I didn't like that one either. Generally I did not care for Moore as Bond, but Live And Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only were good, even if the latter 100% should have had a new and younger Bond for it. Moonraker was actually decent for the first half but it dropped off a cliff at the midway point and went full retard. By the time it was some guys floating in space shooting pew pew lasers at each other I just had to wonder how we got here.

I have watched The Incredible well over 200 times. My father got majority custody of me when my parents divorced, but he didn't get any of the VHS tapes. He did, however, buy a copy of The Incredibles on DVD. Every Friday, when I got done with chores, he'd ask if I wanted to watch a movie and every day he put on The Incredibles. It hasn't changed since I've gotten older. If I go visit him, he'll still put on The Incredibles every single night
